Now is your last chance to order from Amazon for delivery by Christmas

Hunting down the perfect last-minute Christmas gift? The countdown is on — Amazon has announced today is the last day to order from tens of millions of items with guaranteed Two-Day Delivery before Christmas. Wondering what happens if you wait until tomorrow, December 23? You’ll need to take advantage of the retailer’s One-Day Delivery service, which is only available on select, best-selling items. So best to order now to avoid disappointment.

We know what you’re thinking: Ordering this close to Christmas is going to cost nothing short of a small fortune in shipping. While that’s usually the case, Amazon is currently offering a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial that sees this charge waived on all orders placed between now (December 22) and January 22. Best of all, the subscription won’t cost you a dime so long as you cancel it before January 21. It will also omit the fee for One-Day Delivery.

To recap, that’s:

  • Order on December 22 (today!) for Two-Day Delivery by December 24 for tens of millions of items.
  • Order on December 23 (tomorrow!) for One-Day Delivery on December 24 for select, best-selling items.

Now you’re all set up with Amazon Prime, you’ll want to start looking around for something to order. Fortunately, Digital Trends is on hand to help. Keen to save you money wherever we can, we tasked our team of expert bargain hunters with the all-important mission of sifting through Amazon’s Last-Minute Deals — strainer in hand — to separate the diamonds from the coal. What we’re left with is a list of the best Christmas deals you can trust.

The best offer we found? Frankly, it’s hard to narrow it down to one. Amazon has the Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case true wireless earbuds for $139 (save $20), the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner for $469 (save $230), and the 13-inch MacBook Air for $700 (save $300). After something a bit different? There’s also Instant Pot Duo Mini for $56 (save $24) and a Garmin Vivosmart HR+ fitness tracker for $75 (save $105).

Don’t like the look of any of them? Take a look at our Holiday Gift Guide 2019. Just keep in mind that considering there are now only three days to go until Christmas is here, there’s a good chance some of the items included have no sold out and won’t be available until the end of the month. But if you do find something you like the look of and it isn’t in stock online, call your local brick-and-mortar retailers. They might just surprise you.

Anker sale: up to 40% off portable chargers, cable, and more
The iPhone 15 Pro Max being charged by the Anker MagGo Power Bank.

If you've been looking to pick up a new charging cable, charger, or all-in-one charging station for your Android phone or iPhone, then you'll be happy to know that Anker is having a rather large Earth-Day sale that you can take advantage of. There are a ton of discounts that you can take advantage of, too, with up to 40% off in some cases. I that wasn't enough, you can even snag yourself some free gifts, for example, one of the best accessories for a Galaxy S24 is the Anker Nano Power Bank if you spend more than $90,  or even an Anker 621 Magnetic Battery if you spend over $120. Either way, there are a lot of options, and while we've shared some of our favorite deals below, it's also worth taking a look at everything Anker has to offer by pressing the button below.

What you should buy during Anker's Sale
One of the most basic things you may need for any device is a charging cable, and Anker has a couple of great options for that. If you're on an older iPhone with a lightning cable, you can grab Anker's Anker 641 USB-C to Lightning Cable that's 6 feet long using the coupon WSPEV2KENJP2. On the other hand, if you need a USB-C to connect and charge your devices, you can grab the 6-foot Anker 543 USB-C to USB-C Cable using the code WSPEV2EHDR0C.

This HP laptop is discounted from $519 to $279
HP 14 laptop with intel Celeron on desk.

There are laptop deals for top-of-the-line machines, but if you only need a basic device for your day-to-day needs, don't spend more than you should by taking advantage of Walmart's offer for the HP 14-inch Laptop. Instead of $519, you'll only have to pay $279 for savings of $240. That's an extremely affordable price for a brand new laptop, but we don't think it will last long. To make sure that you don't miss out on the discount, it's highly recommended that you proceed with the transaction as soon as possible.

Why you should buy the HP 14-inch Laptop
The HP 14-inch Laptop will never be able to match up to the speed of the best laptops, which is expected because of its price. However, if you're thinking about using the device for simple tasks like browsing the internet, watching streaming shows, and typing documents, then its 13th-generation Intel Core i3-N305 processor, integrated Intel UHD Graphics, and 8GB of RAM will be enough. The laptop also ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed in its 256GB SSD, for an operating system that will be familiar for most people.
