If you plan on traveling this holiday season, you’re going to need luggage to get you to where you need to go. For Black Friday, you can get half off of Samsonite and American Tourister luggage sets on Amazon. You can snag a two-piece Samsonite hardside luggage set for $140, and a softside set for $135. The American Tourister hard side three-piece luggage set is currently $110 for Black Friday.

Samsonite Luggage

The hardside two-piece Samsonite Windfield 2 luggage set includes a 20-inch carry-on and a 28-inch spinner and comes in eight metallic colors including charcoal, orange, teal, or burgundy. Features include side-mounted Transportation Security Administration combination locks to deter theft, four multidirectional spinner wheels, and 1.5 inches of expansion so you can pack more while keeping items compressed.

The softside Samsonite Aspire xLite two-piece luggage set also includes a 20-inch carry-on, as well as a slightly larger 29-inch spinner. Colors include blue, red, or black. This set features a push-button handle, 360-degree spinner wheels, all-side expansion for added capacity, and inside cross straps to keep your items packed and organized.

Both sets come with a 10-year warranty.

American Tourister Luggage

The American Tourister Arrow Expandable hardside three-piece luggage set comes in black, charcoal, or navy. The set includes a 21-inch carry-on, as well as a 24-inch and 28-inch spinner. You’ll find features like four 360-degree spinner wheels, side-mounted TSA locks, expansion on all sides, a mesh divider and cross straps inside the luggage, and a push-button handle.

This set also comes with a guaranteed 10-year warranty.

Why should you buy this?

Luggage can be expensive, but at under $150 for luggage sets, these deals speak for themselves. Both brands have a 4- to 4.5-star rating on Amazon, and the added TSA combination lock feature appears in both sets but lacks in competitor brands like Solyte.

You can get this deal on Amazon for Black Friday, but keep an eye out for upcoming Cyber Monday deals on luggage and travel items as well.

The ear has always processed what is coming before the eye does. In horror movies, the music always tells you something bad is coming. Now researchers at Georgia Tech are using the same idea in real life to keep factory workers safe around robots.

They have built a wearable headset called Spherephones that converts nearby robot movement into spatial music, giving you a warning before a machine gets too close. It helps the user stay aware without breaking their attention.

Elon Musk has denied a Wall Street Journal report claiming SpaceX showed investors a prototype AI device before its recent IPO. "Utterly false," Musk wrote on X, responding to a post about the report that has since been deleted, offering no further explanation.

Study finds humans will talk to AI ghosts of the dead as reincarnations, and it’s pretty grim
The first AI ghost study is in. The results are about as complicated as you'd expect.
VR Headset, Person, Face

A new study from the University of Colorado Boulder confirms something that sounds both impressive and concerning. People find interacting with AI simulations of their dead loved ones deeply meaningful, and most will come away wanting to do it again.

The researchers call it a "generative ghost," which is a clear reference to generative AI, but I’d still prefer to call it unsettling.
