Happy Mario Day! Every March 10 (Mar10), Nintendo fans celebrate the beloved Super Mario franchise, which is still going strong 35 years after the launch of the original Super Mario Bros. in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Over that time, the platformer has evolved into other genres, including open-world adventures like Super Mario Odyssey and racing titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Mario Day brings with it video game deals, as retailers take part in the celebration. This year, Best Buy is offering discounts to three Super Mario games for the Nintendo Switch, namely Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Party, and Mario Tennis Aces. All three games are $21 off at Best Buy, bringing their prices down to $39 from their original prices of $60.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 – $39, was $60
Mario does most of the saving in the Super Mario franchise, but in Luigi’s Mansion 3, it’s Luigi’s turn to save Mario and their friends after they go missing in the Last Resort hotel. Catch ghosts, solve puzzles, and beat the bosses as you go through each themed floor, sometimes with Luigi’s gooey doppelganger Gooigi. You can summon and control Gooigi to do what Luigi can’t, such as slipping through tight spaces and walking on spikes. There’s also a two-player co-op mode, with the first player controlling Luigi and the second player controlling Gooigi.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games, or if you’d like to play co-op with a friend or family member, Luigi’s Mansion 3 is definitely worth a try. Best Buy is currently selling the Nintendo Switch game for only $39, after a $21 discount to its original price of $60. Luigi needs your help in saving Mario, so you should click that Buy Now button as soon as you can.
