THQ is running a contest for fans to choose the cover candidate for the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3. It introduces a new submission system, new fighters, and other new finishes to fights. There’s also the new PRIDE mode which is the no-holds-barred Japanese MMA league which allows head stomps, ground knees to the head, and brutal soccer-style kicks.
The game will be out in January 2012.
The first candidate for the cover contest is Anderson Silva. Silva is probably one of the greatest fighters in MMA history. He holds the record for most consecutive victories with 14 and is the current UFC middleweight champion.
