Xbox Game Pass finally brings Outriders to PC today

Microsoft announced 11 new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October, some of which are available starting today. These latest additions include a variety of genres, including shooters, fighting games, and fishing games. The most notable addition is Outriders, which is finally coming to PC.

Starting today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play indie-developed game Into the Pit and third-person shooter Outriders for PC. Into the Pit, a completely new addition to the service, comes to cloud, console, and PC. Outriders already launched on Game Pass for console, so now it's more widely available than it already was.

Microsoft revealed the first batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September. The biggest title is Final Fantasy XIII, one of the most divisive entries in the series to date. Beyond Square Enix's RPG, indie darling Signs of the Sojourner will also be available alongside a number of other indies. As usual, a few big names are also leaving the service this month, including Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten and Red Dead Online.

Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Final Fantasy XIII in its entirety starting tomorrow, September 2. The game features the active time battle system that Final Fantasy fans have come to know and love, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The game is number 13 on our list of the best Final Fantasy games. While it won't be available on Game Pass' cloud service for mobile play, subscribers will be able to play it on both console and PC.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now grab a 30-day trial of Disney+. The new perk is available through Microsoft's game service through January, though with a few caveats.

Starting today, subscribers can get a Disney+ trial at no additional cost. The perk is only available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, so those who have the PC or Console exclusive versions of the service are not included in the deal.
