Assassin’s Creed Anthology to bundle all five games with DLC

Assassin's Creed 3The Assassin’s Creed franchise will get its very own anthology bundle from Ubisoft, according to a recently confirmed retail listing.

All of the console games, as well as the related DLC that’s been released for each game, will be packaged together in the massive Assassin’s Creed Anthology, which first popped up on Amazon France and was later confirmed by developer Ubisoft. The package will include Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, and the just-released Assassin’s Creed 3.

The bundle will also include a long list of DLC, and it’s assumed that most (if not all) of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC will be in there, too — either in the form of a Season Pass or code packaged with the anthology. The Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC isn’t scheduled for release until sometime next year, though details have already emerged about the storyline and format for the first single-player DLC pack, which goes by two titles: “The Tyranny of King George” and “The Tyranny of King Washington.”

While Ubisoft has confirmed the early reports regarding Assassin’s Creed Anthology, there’s still no word on the bundle’s release date or price. The package was listed on Amazon France with a 150 Euro price, which equates to just shy of $200 at the current rate of exchange. The initial retail listing was confirmed by EuroGamer.
