Ubisoft provides workaround for Assassin’s Creed Unity glitch causing crashes

In response to a reported bug that causes Assassin’s Creed Unity to crash at the main menu when pressing “Continue,” Ubisoft has issued a workaround: delete your friends. This glitch is one of many to have plagued the game since its launch. Ubi is working hard to correct the issue, but advises even people who have not experienced the problem to do the following as a preventative measure:

Do not add any IN-GAME RECENT PLAYER as a GAME CONTACT
If you already have GAME CONTACTS, perform the following to remove them:
My Brotherhood > My Contacts > Game Contacts (using RB/R1) > Focus on a Contact (LS) > More Actions (Y/Triangle) > Remove from contacts.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is about to become a lot more appealing to casual gamers with a new pay-as-you-go option

Starting in November, players will be able to buy blocks of cloud playtime hours and stream eligible Xbox games without committing to a Game Pass subscription.

Microsoft is opening Xbox Cloud Gaming to players without a Game Pass subscription. Starting in November, anyone will be able to buy cloud playtime hours directly through the Xbox Store and stream games they already own, no subscription required.

Microsoft is making a controversial change to the Xbox Cloud Gaming allowance, and it's going to leave a lot of Game Pass subscribers, including me, pretty miffed. So far, Microsoft has offered an unlimited number of play hours for cloud gaming to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Well, the honeymoon period is finally ending.

Starting in November, Xbox will limit cloud gaming to just five hours for customers on the Game Pass Essential plan, while those who pay for Game Pass Premium will only have an allowance of ten hours. Users who pay cash for the top-tier Game Pass Ultimate subscription will get just 15 hours of cloud gaming budget each month.

Sony found another way to make waiting for GTA VI expensive

The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI is getting another expensive distraction. Sony has unveiled two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Rockstar’s upcoming game, bringing Vice City’s neon-soaked aesthetic to the PS5.

The controllers were revealed during the September 3 State of Play and come in Black and White editions. Both feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish designed around the contrasting looks of Vice City - its bright coastal days and neon-lit nights. Custom palm-tree details are molded directly into the controller, while official GTA VI branding completes the design.
