Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Necromantic Strand location for Essence of Brutality quest

How to find the Necromantic Strand in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

If you’re looking to complete the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Essence of Brutality questline, you may find yourself stuck looking for something called a Necromantic Strand. Like Shadowkeep’s other essence quest lines, you’ll have to track down an item in an unmarked location to complete this. Doing so will grant you Loud Lullaby, a powerful legendary hand cannon with insanely high impact.

In addition to finding the item, you’ll also need to complete activities on the moon and get 50 kills with a hand cannon. So before you go looking for the Strand, make sure to equip a hand cannon to kill two thrall with one stone.

Necromantic Strand Location

To find the Necromantic Strand, you’ll first need to find the Hall of Wisdom. Start by loading into the Sanctuary location on the Moon. From there, go west and follow the path all the way to Archer’s Line.

Once there, you’ll want to look for the dome-like building that’s up on a hill. You’ll find this on your right once you enter the area. Enter the dome building and exit its other side. You’ll should see a hill leading down towards a Hive structure.

Enter the structure and follow it all the way down. Eventually, you’ll find yourself in the Hall of Wisdom. Go right once you get in and head for the circular structures at the center of the room.

At this point, a waypoint marker should pop up on the screen indicating the Strands location. Follow it, and you’ll find the Strand sitting on the ground. Pick it up to check this off your to-do list.

Once you complete all three steps, all you have to do is head back to the lectern near the Sanctuary landing zone on the Moon and interact with it. Voila! Loud Lullaby will be added to your collection! If you manage to accidentally dismantle Loud Lullaby, don’t worry! Once you’ve completed the quest, you’ll be able to return to the lectern and get the quest again. So you’ll be able to farm Loud Lullaby as many times as you want if you’re hunting for the perfect roll.

Death Stranding 2: everything we know so far
Sam Bridges walks on a ridge in front of the moon.

There were plenty of hints along the way, and even some leaks by the leading man himself, but it was only made official at the Game Awards 2022 that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is on its way. Coming from the same influential and creative mind as the original, as well as the Metal Gear franchise before it, Hideo Kojima introduced the game himself. Of course, nothing about Kojima's games are straight forward, and what was revealed about Death Stranding 2 probably raised more questions than it answered. We're strapping on our boots, connecting to our BBs, and are ready to make the trek to find out everything there is about Death Stranding 2.
Release date speculation

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach only has the wide release window of 2025.
