How to get XCoins in XDefiant
A Defiant standing with a gun in front of a large yellow X.

Every game with an in-game shop like XDefiant also needs its own form of currency. Typically, there's more than one to make things even more complicated. XCoins are the name for Ubisoft's premium currency needed to buy most of the cosmetics, such as skins and animations. Some games allow you to earn small amounts of the premium currency for free, while others only sell it to you in exchange for real cash. You don't have to pay to start playing, but will you need to start spending money once you do? Let's dig in and find the answer.
How to get XCoins
XCoins can only be earned in two ways in XDefiant. The first is to simply purchase them with real money. You can buy bundles of the premium currency in the Store tab of the menu by selecting Get More XCoins. These are the bundles currently available:

1,000 XCoins: $10

All Minecraft biomes, explained
A misty minecraft landscape.

The randomly generated world of Minecraft has technically been limitless since the beginning, but Mojang has made it even bigger over time by adding more diversity to the things you can discover in the world. Over the years, we've had new items, recipes, monsters, animals, and even entire biomes integrated into the game. Biomes are always the most exciting because they introduce an entirely new ecosystem that brings back that fresh feeling of exploration. We have a lot more than just the few basic biomes the game launched with, so let's run through them all and what makes them unique.

Note that there are many sub-biomes within many larger ones, so we will do our best to consolidate them all and list anything unique within them as logically as possible.

How to use Steam Family
A steam family library in Steam.

Steam has evolved a lot since it initially launched. What was once a simple storefront has developed into the largest PC gaming community in the world, with millions of people around the globe logging on and playing. Because Steam is a digital-only storefront, and games are tied to a single account, it did have a drawback when multiple people in a family wanted their own accounts. There were questions about parental controls, game sharing, and more, but Valve has been working away at a solution. Currently available in the Steam Beta, Steam Families offer a range of options and features that any household should look into. Let's dive into how it works and what you can do with it.
How to start a Steam Family

By opting in on the Steam Beta Client, you will have the option to create a Steam Family with up to five members that are either given an Adult or Child account status. Once set up, you can view and manage your family directly on Steam, on a browser, or via the mobile app. To access the steam beta, open Steam, select the Steam button, and go into Settings. From there, select Interface > Steam Families Beta under Client Beta Participation.
