How to get the Minecraft TikTok cape

In honor of Minecraft's 15th anniversary, Mojang is celebrating with a massive anniversary event and giving away some fun new cosmetic items across social media.

Starting May 18, one special TikTok cape is available for everyone to get absolutely free, though you can't get it in-game. This cape has the familiar Minecraft creeper face done in the black, red, and blue colors of the TikTok logo. Getting it will only take a second, but you need to know where to go and a special, very secret keyword in order to get the code you need to unlock it.

How to get the Minecraft TikTok cape

Between May 18 and June 18 you can get the exclusive TikTok cape for your Minecraft character in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Go to TikTok.

Step 2: Find any Minecraft stream with the reward enabled.

Step 3: Clock on the TikTok logo in the upper-left corner to leave a comment.

Your comment must simply be "Minecraft."

Step 4: After you leave your comment, click on the TikTok logo again, and click Claim to get your code.

Step 5: Head over to the redemption site to input your code and claim your new cape.
