Where to sell stolen and damaged items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you travel from one settlement to the next in search of adventure. Of course, it’s a given that your items will suffer wear and tear. And, yes, sometimes these items might not have been yours in the first place, since you probably nicked them from some hapless villager. Still, you might be wondering how to earn a few Groschen (i.e. cash) with your wares. Here’s our Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 guide on where to sell your stolen and damaged items.

There are several indicators that show if certain items are damaged or stolen in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You can see these when you open your inventory:

  • Damaged: Sort items based on their condition (i.e. heart icon) to see how much durability they have remaining.
  • Stolen: Appears as a small red hand icon.
  • Dirty (blood): Appears as a red droplet of blood.
  • Dirty (grime): Appears as a brownish germ icon.

Selling stolen property

Generally speaking, you can sell most stolen items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but there are some caveats:

  • You can only sell items that match a particular merchant type–i.e. tailors buy all sorts of clothing except armors.
  • Continue leveling up your Speech stat so you can unlock the Hustler perk. This nets you bonus Thievery and Stealth experience whenever you sell stolen goods.
  • Some merchants tend to be okay with stolen goods, but they pay only a fraction of the amount. There are two ways to alleviate this issue:
    • Place items inside your personal stash/chest and wait for several days to elapse. The “stolen” tag should eventually disappear.
    • Travel to another village, different from the settlement where you robbed everyone, and sell your wares there.
  • If your reputation in a town is too low, most NPCs will avoid talking to you.
  • Merchants will recognize stuff that they own. Do not attempt to sell them their own wares or they’ll immediately call the guards.

Selling damaged items versus repairing them

Here are a few things to remember if you want to sell damaged items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2:

  • Look at an item’s durability/condition. The higher the value, the higher the selling price.
  • If you looted a damaged weapon and it has a high selling price, look for a Sharpening Stone at a smithy. You can use Sharpening Stones to repair weapons and hone their edge, thereby increasing their selling price.
  • As for armors and clothes, you can sell cheaper ones without bothering to repair them. However, for those that are quite expensive, you should consider using an Armorer’s Kit for armors and a Tailoring Kit for clothing. These tools can cost a pretty penny, so you’re better off using the ones that you obtained freely as loot from containers or enemies.

Is it worth cleaning dirty or bloodied items before you sell them?

You can, indeed, clean your dirty or bloodied gear pieces via troughs, washing ponds, or bathhouses. However, this has no bearing on the item’s selling price. Instead, this affects your Charisma level, as it’s essentially how people view you. If you’re clean fresh, most NPCs won’t be bothered by your presence. Conversely, if you’re covered in blood and mud, you’ll hear a lot of negative comments.

That does it for our guide on where to sell stolen and damaged items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. As you explore the realms of Bohemia, you can take a look at our beginner’s guide, moneymaking guide, and reputation guide.

Where and when you can play the Switch 2 before release
Mario Kart running on a Switch 2.

Nothing is more exciting than a new console, and the Switch 2 might be the most highly anticipated system yet. Nintendo finally made an official announcement on January 16 with a glimpse at the new hardware and promised to deliver more information in April. While it didn't give us that all-important release date as we hoped, it did fill us in on some important details like if it is backwards compatible. But what is most exciting is that Nintendo is letting consumers go hands-on with the new system long before release. You have to be in the right place at the right time to be one of the first to play a Switch 2. These are all the locations and dates for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience.
Nintendo Switch 2 Experience dates and locations

Nintendo will be visiting multiple major cities around the world to give players a chance to play the Switch 2 before launch. While we don't know what games will be playable just yet, we are confident they will be worth the trip for anyone able to make it. Here is a full list of the announced cities and dates for the Nintendo Switch Experience. The only details we don't know are specific hours, but we will update this article as soon as we learn more.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Sim might come to PS5 and Switch 2
A screenshot of a plane in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Good morning and buckle up, folks: We're leaping onto the rumor mill today. As more and more news about the Nintendo Switch 2 emerges as its anticipated announcement approaches, a video game podcaster named NateTheHate has claimed that both Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are coming to the Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. NateTheHate has been correct numerous times in the past regarding upcoming games, but we encourage you to take this news with the proper amount of skepticism. The idea of an Xbox title on the Switch 2 is somewhat far-fetched, especially since we still have no clear picture of the console's specs.

However, the Switch 2 might not need the onboard hardware to power titles like this. Xbox made an announcement in February 2024 to bring more of its games to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo, including Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded. The idea is that the Nintendo Switch 2 could work with cloud game streaming; by providing an interface, gamers could play titles through the cloud that the Switch would not be able to handle on its own. Considering the demanding specifications of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, streaming is the only practical answer for how Nintendo's portable console could handle the game.
