The beta testing has begun for Battlefield 4, and fans of the series that meet certain pre-requisites can join today. For everyone else, the beta will begin on PC, PS4, and Xbox 360 October 4.

The launch of the beta was expected, despite some initial confusion on who got access when. In order to join today, you must have pre-ordered the Battlefield 4 PC Digital Deluxe Edition, be a “Battlefield 3 Premium” member, or have purchased and registered a copy of Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition. Then on October 4, the beta opens to everyone.

The beta offers the map “Siege at Shanghai,” which we saw at E3, and in which we witnessed an entire skyscraper be destroyed. It features two game modes: Conquest and domination. Beta players will also get to see the new “Battlepacks,” which offer a random combination of camos, dog tags, and more. These can be earned through experience progression.

The full version of Battlefield 4 will be available on October 29 for PS, PS3, and Xbox 360. It will then be released on PS4 and Xbox One as a launch title for both systems. Those that buy the current gen versions can then upgrade to the next-gen for $10.

All Faded Plaque puzzle solutions in Diablo 4
how long is diablo 4 diablo4 isometric barbarian

With the transition to a more open-world format for Diablo 4, there are far more things to discover as you travel across Sanctuary. In addition to the normal monsters, quests, and World Events, there are plenty of more mysterious locations to discover. Perhaps the most perplexing thing you will stumble upon is the collection of Faded Plaques. These shrines are small puzzles, but aside from a slight clue, they are very tricky to solve. If you want to know how to solve all the Faded Plaque puzzles in Diablo 4 for some easy rewards, here's how to do it.
All Faded Plaque puzzle solutions

Each Faded Plaque has a small line to clue you in on what you need to do to solve them. Depending on which clue you get, solving it will give you a different reward. Each one requires you to perform a specific emote in front of the shrine, so you can complete all of them as soon as you find them. To perform an emote, you need to press up on the D-pad if you're playing on console, or press the E key on PC to bring up the emote wheel -- just remember that not all emotes are visible at once so you may need to tab over to the other wheels to find the one you need. You can also customize which emotes are available on your primary wheel to put the ones you like or use most front and center.

Diablo 4: all Stronghold locations
Diablo 4

The Diablo series is famous for popularizing the Action RPG dungeon crawler. Really kicking off with the second game, that formula of building up your character, running deadly dungeons for loot, and doing it all again at higher difficulties is what many people come to these games for. Diablo 4 offers the largest variety of challenge yet. You have a lengthy main quest across multiple acts, optional dungeons, and random World Events, but the Strongholds are the first real taste of that endgame challenge. These difficult trials shower anyone both strong and smart enough to overcome them with plenty of rewards, but you need to find them first. Sanctuary has never been so large, so here's all the Stronghold locations in Diablo 4.
All Stronghold locations

Each of the five main regions in Diablo 4 has three Strongholds to find, for a total of 15. Regions in this game are massive, so unless you're willing to comb over every area, knowing where to look will make finding these Strongholds much easier. Once you beat a Stronghold, which typically requires you to defeat all the enemies, solve a puzzle, and/or defeat a tough mini-boss, most will transform into a settlement you can use as a Waypoint. Unlike all the other main content in Diablo 4, Strongholds don't scale to your level, but to a few levels above your current power, making them always challenging no matter when you attempt them.

Nostrava: On the southwestern side of the map, you can reach it by going out the northwestern exit of Kyovashad and heading through The Pallid Glade. It is south of Camp Trenchfoot.

How to open Silent Chests in Diablo 4
Diablo 4 Rogue

Cracking open a massive, glowing chest and scooping up all that colorful loot is one of the best parts about playing a Diablo title. That dopamine rush of seeing all those new gear items spill onto the ground is unmatched, even if the contents aren't exactly what you're looking for. Diablo 4 obviously has plenty of chests to plunder, but there's one kind you may stumble upon that can't be opened like the rest. Silent Chests require what are called Whispering Keys to open. That's all well and good, except for the fact that the game won't tell you what those are or where to get them. That's where we come in, Wanderer, so here's everything you need to know about opening Silent Chests in Diablo 4 so you can access that top-tier loot.
