Lego Avengers assemble in 2015, along with Jurassic Park and some ninjas

Lego Marvel’s Avengers and Lego Jurassic World are coming later in 2015, according to Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Games. The Lego Movie Videogame and Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham will also be coming to mobile platforms within the same timeframe.

Due to Marvel’s reticence to rush out shoddy tie-ins, Lego Marvel’s Avengers will be the first console title to tell the story of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers and its upcoming sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. Lego Jurassic World takes you through the epic stories of Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park III, and the upcoming Jurassic World. Both games will arrive in fall 2015 for Nintendo, PlayStation, Windows, and Xbox platforms and their assorted handhelds.

PC gaming has spent the past few years leaning heavily on AI to squeeze better graphics and higher frame rates out of hardware. Now, Arm wants to bring a similar idea to the phones in our pockets.

Arm has unveiled the Mali G2-Ultra NX, its first mobile GPU designed with dedicated neural acceleration built directly into the graphics hardware. That sounds like a mouthful, but the idea behind it is surprisingly simple: instead of asking the GPU to brute-force every pixel and every frame, AI can help fill in some of the gaps. For mobile gaming, where battery life and heat matter as much as raw performance, that could be a pretty big deal.
