New Halo: Reach Campaign Trailer Debuts

If you are not at least familiar with Bungie’s upcoming Halo: Reach, please hand over your gamer card immediately and hang your head in shame!  Either that, or please contact Microsoft so they can fire someone in their PR department.

Microsoft is making sure that Halo: Reach is in your face at all times.  The game won’t be released until September, but if you have even a passing familiarity with the gaming industry, you have heard of this game.  For those of you that somehow dodged the Halo PR bullet, Halo: Reach is a prequel to the original Halo trilogy.  Basically, the planet of Reach is screwed.  The Covenant has descended on the planet and destroyed the colony in almost every possible way, leaving only a handful of survivors to fight back and to try to stay alive. Fortunately for humanity, and unfortunately for any shootable aliens, one group of survivors is a team of spartan super-soldiers on par with Master Chief.  Pity the Covenant.

The most recently released campaign trailer can best be described as “epic” in scope and scale. Watch, and be ready for this Xbox 360 exclusive to be released on September 14.

Senua looks into the water in Hellblade 2

During the Xbox Games Showcase today, we got a new look at Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and learned that it will come out next year.

After a brief introduction from Senua actor Melina Juergens, we jumped into nearly four minutes of gameplay. We see Senua explore a misty, mysterious cave that seems to be shifting all around her. Senua continues to struggle with the voices in her head, which eventually lead her to look at her reflection in the water and proclaim that everything she's done has led her to this place. She then gets pulled into the water at the end of the trailer.

Fable teaser trailer showing large door

It's official: the long-awaited Fable reboot is well on its way. At least, it appears that way, given the brand-new teaser trailer showing in-game cinematic footage that was unveiled at Xbox Games Showcase 2023.

Thanks to a pithy introduction to Playground Games' newest rendition of Fable by none other than British comedian Richard Ayoade, we've now seen a glimpse into what the reboot of Xbox's classic open-ended roleplaying game series could offer players when it finally releases. We still don't have a solid release date as of today's stream, however.
