PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting a big December gift. Sony has confirmed that the Game Catalog is adding Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long Fallen Dynasty this month, giving players two major action experiences in completely different styles. It is one of the strongest month-end drops PS Plus has had in a while and a solid way to wrap up 2025.

New titles on PS Plus this December

This month’s PS Plus lineup delivers two big adventures and a variety of smaller surprises to round out your library during the holiday break.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage brings the franchise back to its stealth-focused roots with a smaller, story-driven adventure set in ninth-century Baghdad. The game follows Basim as he goes from street thief to master assassin, who joins the Hidden Ones and learns the art of silent infiltration. The game leans heavily on classic Assassin’s Creed elements such as parkour, social stealth, quick assassinations, and a dense city designed for rooftop escapes. It is shorter and more streamlined than recent entries, making it ideal for players who want a tight, fast-moving adventure they can finish without sinking weeks into it.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty offers a completely different flavor of action. It is a fast, punishing, combat-heavy game inspired by Chinese martial arts and mythology. Fighting in this game is all about timing, parrying, and mastering rapid attacks, making it especially appealing for players who enjoy titles like Nioh or Sekiro. Since both Mirage and Wo Long are major third-party releases, their arrival on PS Plus gives subscribers access to premium experiences they may have missed at launch.

Sony is also adding several other games to the Game Catalog, giving players a mix of indie, action, and family-friendly options to explore. These include titles such as Skate Story, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Planet Coaster 2, Cat Quest 3, Lego Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, and Paw Patrol World. All of these will be available to play December 16, aside from Skate Story, which is already released on December 8.

Earlier today, Microsoft raised the price of its Xbox consoles by up to $150 in the U.S. Just a few hours before that, Apple announced a similar move for its Mac and iPad portfolio, while also raising the sticker price of its Vision Pro headset and several other products except the iPhone. But it seems these two giants are not done with price hikes yet.

Neither company has explicitly said that more price hikes are coming, but their statements suggest otherwise. Take, for example, this statement that Apple shared with The Washington Post earlier today.
