But while you’re wandering the jungles of India’s Western Ghats mountain range, climbing ruins, and shooting bad guys, it can be easy to miss the myriad of collectibles hidden in every nook and cranny. That’s okay, though: Our Uncharted: The Lost Legacy collectibles guide will help you find every bit of shiny developer Naughty Dog hid in The Lost Legacy, so you can concentrate on having a good time with Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross.
Prologue
Ginesh Statuette
This one doesn’t really count, since it already belongs to Chloe. You’ll get it back as you move through the market, after the little kid pickpockets you.
Chapters 1-3
Chapter 1
Sterling Silver Cigarette Case
Once you’ve made it through the red door, you’ll enter a building patrolled by Asav’s men. Take out the first two and instead of taking the stairs, look for an open window. Climb out and you’ll be able to shimmy over to a fire escape ladder. Take it to the rooftop above and head to the left side of the roof. The treasure is laying on some barrels. If you see the plane fly over and bomb the city below, you’re in the right place.
Chapter 2
Bullet Whistle
After meeting up with Nadine, you’ll start climbing toward Asav’s building. You’ll jump to some neon signs, shimmy around a building, climb some more signs and then pull yourself up to a roof with some low grass and a wire you can use as a zip line. Avoid the zipline and go to the far side of the roof, on the level higher than the grass, from where you first climbed up. Hang from the edge of the roof and go around one of the low tin huts to find the treasure.
Military Service Lighter
When you’re ready to go down the zip line, take out a guard and then go into a shed to get a wheely cart that you can climb on. The Military Service Lighter is on the table beside the box.
Utility Spork
The next time you find a wheely cart, it’ll be to drop it down to Nadine so she can climb up to where you are. When you push it over the side of your much higher ledge, though, it’ll crash through the roof, taking Nadine along with it. Before you drop down, walk back around to the part of the structure where you found the cart and check the ground where it was to find the Utility Spork.
Traveling Inkwell
After you drop down through the broken roof to meet up with Nadine, you’ll head toward the Pink Lotus sign again. Jump across to a single bar you’ll have to swing off of, then shimmy along the wall to climb into a blasted office building. Up ahead you’ll see the pink lights indicating the way forward, but instead of heading that way, go to the left side of the room. You’ll find a narrower section of the room with a desk against the far wall, and the Traveling Inkwell on it.
Tactical Compass
Look for this in the room where Asav keeps all his artifacts. From the door, walk in to the left and move around the corner to the right. You’ll see the large, tilted windows on the left side of the room. Head toward those, behind the big shelf in front of them, to find the Tactical Compass sitting on a crate.
Chapter 3
Gupta Empire Coins
Drive until you hit the small lakebed where Chloe says, “Hey look, it’s a flamingo convention.” In the center of the lake, in front of the waterfalls, is a big rock. Just behind that rock in the water is the treasure, and it’s easily missed.
Silver Water Jar
Drive until you get to the gates to the capital. Get out and approach them and you’ll trigger a cutscene about the jeep’s winch, then get ambushed by some soldiers. After they’re dead, climb up to where they came from (the structure to your left if you’re facing the gates). On one of the bodies you should find some grenades. Use one to blow open the weak stone wall on the top level of the structure to find the Silver Water Jar behind it.
Golden Fish Statuette
Drive on through the gates, following the river. Watch for a pair of waterfalls on your right side, flanking a structure in the middle. Hop out of the car and go into the structure, between the waterfalls, to find a short tunnel where the Golden Fish Statuette waits.
Mango Crystal Scent Flask
After your first encounter with Asav’s men, you’ll climb up above the gate in order to use a wheel to open it. From there, you’ll go inside and climb down, dropping into the jeep when you hit the ground. Don’t drive away — instead, hop out of the jeep and look at the inside wall inside the gate. It’s the left side when you’re standing with your back to the jeep.
Chapters 4-7
Chapter 4
Hoysala Tokens
Chapter 4 includes a set of special collectibles known as Hoysala Tokens. Each comes with a brief battle or a small puzzle and they’re all scattered around the open world area of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Track them all down and you can take them to the northeastern part of the map, where they can be used to open a locked door. Inside, you’ll find a special item called the Queen’s Ruby, which glows and makes noise when you approach collectibles. You’ll also need to open the door to find three of Chapter 4’s other collectible treasures. Check out our Hoysala Token guide to find them all.
Leather Covered Binoculars
Just south of the tower is a ruin that’s more or less in the middle a lake, where Asav’s men have taken up residence. Climb up and clear them out. You’ll know you’re in the right place if you find an archer statue pointing at a towering ruin to the south. Right next to the stone lantern that denotes the location of a Hoysala Token, you’ll find a weapons crate. Pick the lock and you’ll find the Leather Covered Binoculars inside.
Serpents and Ladders Game
Just north of the tower, drive through a rocky pass and you’ll see stairs and a bridge to your right. Take the stairs up to a wall you can climb up and over. Inside is the treasure.
Jade Pendant
Follow the river north from the tower to where it ends in a stone wall with structures built into it. You can climb into the structure on both the left and right sides of the waterfall there. On the right side, you’ll get inside the structure to find the Jade Pendant. (The left side has a Hoysala Token).
Metal Tiger Claws
Follow the river north from the central tower to where it terminates in a small pond, right next to the fortress marked with the axe symbol. To the right of the waterfall there, you’ll find a tunnel set in the rocks. About halfway to the far side, on the left, you’ll see the sparkle of the treasure in the shadows.
Butterfly Trinket
At the fortress marked with the axe, you’ll see one of Asav’s trucks at the bottom of the path, near the waterfall. Open the crate in the back to find the trinket.
Miniature Bronze Cannon
Near the northmost part of the map, you’ll find a question mark after visiting the tower. Once you go, it’ll be replaced by a token symbol. Just south of the archway marked by the symbol is a small tower, with a locked weapons crate at its base. Open it to find the treasure.
Jade Archer’s Ring
Just east of the archway where you can turn in the tokens is a second tower. Climb up to find the ring.
Engraved Gourd Jar
On the west side of the map near the huge relief where the waterfalls are activated by each of the three fortresses, you can drive in the water beneath a pair of bridges. The southernmost one has a treasure just underneath.
Rosewood Spice Box
Directly east of the tower is a group of ruined structures and a raised area just beyond. On one side of the raised area, a land ramp creates a small alcove with the wall nearby. In that alcove is the treasure.
Hoysala Coin
Northeast of the tower, just north of one token and west of another, is an elephant statue. One side of the statute has handholds you can climb. Get up to its eye to find the coin hidden there.
Ivory Casket
Just to the right of the token ruins with the bells, you’ll find a muddy path you can drive up the mountain near a waterfall. The path then crosses a pool the waterfall flows out of. Keep driving across the pool to find another path that rings the side of the mountain a bit. About halfway, where you can still see over the cliffside, the treasure is on the ground near a tree.
Medieval Indian Lock and Key
East of the main tower and north of the southeastern fortress, look for a squatty, square ruined building with some statues set in its side. Head to the west side of the structure and look for a break you can climb up. The treasure waits just to your left.
Ancient Stone Jar
As you approach the trident fortress, you’ll see a big waterfall with a pink cherry blossom tree in front of it. Drive up behind the tree, right up to the waterfall, and check for a small ledge in between the two streams you can climb up on top of to grab the treasure.
Trinket Box
Immediately to the right of the waterfall with the pink tree on it, you’ll find a tunnel that lets you drive up onto the pool that feeds the big waterfall. Halfway through the tunnel, on the left side, is the treasure.
Stag Horn Box
After leaving the Trident fortress, you’ll find the car in the middle of a river. Drive downriver about 20 feet, just past the flat rock that could be used for a jump. Look to the right bank for a square pillar, before the sharp rock jutting out of the river to split it. Get out and head to the square pillar to find the treasure in front of it.
Nagfani Horn
Just south of the Axe fortress, you’ll find a stand of trees outside the archway you need to go under to get to the fort. Immediately north of it is a waterfall with a structure on top. Look for two square pillars among the trees and check behind them to find the treasure.
Hoysala Kukri, Inscribed Copper Plate, Silver Goblet
Once you collect all 11 Hoysala tokens, you’ll open a door to where you saw the monkeys when you first arrived. Head to the small structure there to find three treasures. Use this Hoysala Tokens guide to track them all down and unlock the door.
Chapter 5
Padouk Tea Cradle
As you first enter the city, you’ll have to drop down to a lower area. Nadine will mention that she’s found what’s left of the stairs down. With the Ginesh statues behind you, head to the right along the wall until you can’t walk further. The tea cradle is hidden among the leaves near the edge of the cliff.
Engraved Ewer
Just a bit further down the path, you’ll swing toward a small tunnel cut in the cliff side. Go to the other side of the tunnel and turn right to look at the wall beside it. You’ll be able to climb up. Go all the way up, then drop down on top of the tunnel where you see some statues to find the Ewer.
Bidri Hookah Bowl
After scaling the Ginesh statues, you’ll drop down through a hole and lower yourself down on your hope. As you lower yourself toward a rock pillar to climb down, you’ll be able to see a treasure up against the wall just below you, near some stone stairs.
Gold Cased Ivory Dentures
To leave the room where you roped down, you’ll find a small hole in the wall that leads to a narrow tunnel. At the far end of the tunnel, check the left wall behind a small pile of garbage to find the dentures.
Palm Leaf Manuscript
You’ll enter a room in which Chloe lands on a pile of bones, and Nadine will comment that this was the city’s last stand against the Persians. Head to the left wall of the room where water is coming through the rocks. Move into the far corner from where you entered the room and check behind the debris to find the manuscript.
Khanjarli Curved Dagger
After fleeing from Asav’s armored truck and its mounted turret, you’ll eventually fall through a crumbling floor into a structure with skulls carved into the walls. Turn back toward the hole instead of continuing forward and you’ll find the dagger in the corner behind you.
Chapter 6
10th Century Oil Bottle
After you destroy the APC and enter the tunnels, you’ll descend until you hit a slope Chloe will be forced to slide down. From there, follow the path forward until it opens up into a cavern to your left. Turn right instead, where you’ll find the treasure sitting on a couple of small stairs.
Aged Silver Anklet
Keep moving forward until you come through a tunnel narrow enough to make Chloe crouch. When you exit, the path will take you to the right, up some stairs. When you reach the top, turn left so you’re overlooking the tunnel you just exited, then check the wall on the right for the anklet.
Ceremonial Sugar Hammer
When you reach the family of elephants, you’ll pass with them on your left. As you get to the far side of the area, there will be a small path that terminate into a waterfall on your right, past the statue (the main path has you climbing up a low ledge to reach it). You’ll find the sugar hammer in the bushes near the edge of the waterfall.
Raja Raja Gold Kahavanu
Keep going up the path until you hit Asav’s weapon crates. You can then climb the low platform on your right. Spin around, and you’ll see a platform across from you with a treasure. Ignore it for now. Instead, keep jumping along the low platforms here until you reach a tunnel you have to duck to enter. The Kahavanu is on the ground on the right side of the tunnel as you pass through.
Agate Gemstone Box
Right after you exit the low tunnel from the last treasure, you’ll be able to use your grappling hook to swing across a gap to the platform you saw earlier. The Gemstone Box is on the ground in the middle of it.
Chapter 7
Lakshmi Marriage Ornament
After fighting through some of Asav’s men, including two heavy troopers, move forward until you reach another tunnel you have to crouch through. If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice there’s a dead-end branch of the tunnel leading to your right where the treasure is hidden, but you can’t reach it. Continue to the end of the tunnel, where you’ll come out between two waterfalls. If you spin the camera around to face the tunnel exit, you’ll see you can jump to a clickable wall to the left of it. Climb upward to get to the other side of the dead end tunnel branch and the ornament.
Hanuman Brass Bell
Soon you’ll climb to the staircase leading into the city, with lots of statues adorning it. About halfway up is a flat area with a structure in the middle through which a tree is growing, and a blasted door blocking your path. Check the back side of the structure with the tree to find the treasure.
Enamel Betel Box
Once you get past the blasted door into the city, you’ll find a green pool of water. Asav’s men will close the pathway ahead of you. Before you go swimming, check the back left corner of the pool, near the tree, for a treasure.
Jeweled Pipe Mouthpiece
You’ll swim through an underwater path as you pursue Asav’s men. When you surface on the other side, swim to the left wall and look for a rock jutting out, which indicates a small alcove. The pipe mouthpiece is on the ground underwater inside.
Silver Comb Perfume Flask
You’ll reach a big room full of shelves and artifacts. From the entrance, run to the right side of the room and go along the outside to the back. The treasure is on the floor near the shelves on the outer side.
Hand Carved Sheesham Breadbox
In the same room of shelves and artifacts, head to the back left corner of the room when standing in the entrance. You’ll find the breadbox in an alcove set in the wall.
Bronze Decan Incense Burner
You’ll reach a ledge where you can’t progress any further without jumping into a pool below. When you hit the water, swim to the back left corner of the pool if you’re facing the structure at the far end. Dive down to find the treasure on a rock.
Satavahana Hourglass
To move forward from the diving pool, you’ll need to swim underwater through a doorway. On the far side, head to the end of the pool where you surface and look for a patch of dry land on the right that you can walk right up on. Walk as far as you can to find the treasure. The platform is to the right of the climbing area that will let you move forward through the area.
Chalukya Griffin Candlestick
When you reach the big statue set in the wall above a square pool, head to the back left corner. The candlestick is behind a pillar near the left wall.
Bronze Medallion Flask
You’ll reach what might be a throne room, with a huge shiva statue. Head to the left side of the room, where the water gets deep. Swim toward the corner of the room and then underwater to find the treasure on a sharp rock.
Jadeite Bottle
In the same room with the big statue, run to its right side to find an opening that will let you get around beside it. The bottle is on the ground in the back left corner of that area.
Bichwa Dagger
On the room with the big statue, you’ll find the third dagger at its base, directly beneath it. Climb over the low well into a small basin to find it.
Harappan Ivory Dice
When you find the path to start climbing in the room with the big statue, you’ll come up to a platform with a staircase going to your left and an archway in front of you. Climb the wall with the arch to another platform with a couple of big ferns on it. Hidden behind the plants is the treasure.
Ivory Chess Pieces
When you start to climb the big Shiva statue, you’ll first move one hand toward you so you can climb onto the others. As you climb to the second hand (Shiva’s upper right), climb down the fist and you’ll find a small balcony you can reach below the platform with the crank. Hop off and find a treasure on it.
Gold Chola Earrings
At the second crank in the room with the big Shiva statue, you’ll need to climb up to a platform above the crank to reach the axe after you’ve moved it. When you reach that platform, head to its far end and go around the corner to find the treasure.
Bridal Maang Tikka
Once you activate the water on the first side of the Shiva statue, you’ll jump across from the statue to the ruins on the wall on the left side. Immediately climb down to the lower platform and head to the right. You’ll be able to climb up to a broken staircase, right before which you’ll find the treasure.
Chapters 8-9
Chapter 8
Jeweled Snuff Bottle
At the very start of the chapter, walk down to the cliff’s edge where Nadine and Sam have their conversation. Follow the edge to the left, where you’ll hit a rock that you can’t walk past. Grab hold of the ledge and shimmy over past the rock to find the bottle on a small platform.
Brass Ewer
Keep going until you see the helicopter. The main path has you climbing, but look for a pool of water just below you that you can swim down into. The treasure is at the bottom.
Mamluk Brass Bowl
Continue climbing until you come to a gap with a waterfall running down a muddy slope. The path ahead has you sliding across and catching a ledge on the far side. Instead, slide down the path and stay on your side (the left side when headed downward) and look for another set of climbable ledges on the left. Take the path up to a platform just above your previous path, where the treasure awaits.
Crescent Flask
At the next muddy slope, Chloe will fall, forcing you to save yourself with your grappling hook. Swing over to the climbable wall and you’ll come up behind a fence with a waterfall flowing through it. At the far end of the area is a rock, behind which is the flask.
Soapstone Jewelry Box
Nadine will spot a path above you and throw a rope up to climb to it, with Sam going next. Instead of following, walk to the lowest point of the ledge you’re on, hang off the side of it, and shimmy to your left. You’ll see Chloe reach for a handhold further to the left on the rock wall beside you. Hop over and follow the handholds to grab the jewelry box.
Peacock Nut Cutter
A little further on, Chloe will lose control and go sliding down a series of muddy ramps, with a few moments where you’ll need to catch grappling hook points to survive. At the bottom, Sam and Nadine will call down to you and you’ll need to climb up to them. Look for a climbing path in the wall beside you, one that goes back over the rock archway through which you just passed. When you got to the far side, you’ll start to climb upward. Move to where a slit in the rock allows you to shimmy around a corner, and look for a path to climb down instead of up. You’ll reach a platform just below you with the treasure on it.
British Powder Flask
You’ll hit a puzzle in which you need to move a rail cart back into position by switching it between tracks. Once you’ve moved it the first time, you’ll open a way into a blocked train tunnel and boost Sam up. He’ll find a crate that you can use with the rail cart to get up to his level. When you do, check for a tunnel to the right of the main path (the one that goes upward) to find the area Sam came from when you boosted him up. The ledge that had the ladder Sam climbed has a treasure waiting.
Strange Skull
As you approach the train yard, you’ll need to swing across a gap. Chloe will offer Sam her rope, then Nadine will. Use your rope to swing out over the gap, but don’t jump. Instead, swing back toward where you started and look for a small ledge just underneath the platform you swung out from. Jump for it and you’ll find the skull there.
Chapter 9
United India Company Pistol
When you jump onto the back of the train, hit X to hop over the low wall and hold onto the edge. Shimmy around the side of the train to where you can climb on top. The pistol is in the center of the back section of the car’s roof.
Viceroy’s Penbox
Continue on the train until you come a car with no way of climbing to the roof. Shimmy along first the left side of the car, then go through the interior to the right side and shimmy to the front. Spin the camera around when you reach the front of the car to find the penbox on a basket.
United India Company Coins
After fighting a bunch of Asav’s guys, jumping onto several cars and then back onto the train, and finally commandeering the turret on the back of a truck to fight a guy with a minigun, you’ll finally get back on the train and have a breather. Go through the blue car where you land and you’ll see a brown one up ahead whose roof is inaccessible. Go to the left side of the car and shimmy on the outside of it to reach a small platform with the treasure. Around this time you’ll hear Nadine and Chloe discussing how Asav must have been planning to obtain the bomb for months, and that it’ll be all the sweeter to “bollocks it all up.”
