If you want to win a limited edition gold PlayStation 4 Bundle, locate the nearest Taco Bell and plan on eating there — a lot. Sony is partnering with the fast-food chain for a promotion that will award a free PS4 bundle every 10 minutes starting Sept. 24 and ending Nov. 4.
The campaign, available only in the U.S., will give out a total of about 6,000 limited edition gold PS4 bundles, which include a gold PS4, a gold DualShock 4 controller, a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and a voucher for a one-year PlayStation Plus membership.
For a chance to win one of the limited edition PS4 bundles, consumers are encouraged to visit a participating Taco Bell between Sept. 24 and Nov. 4 and purchase a Big Box meal, which will come with a unique code printed on the box. The diner can text the code to a phone number to see whether they’ve won a free bundle.
However, consumers who don’t want to purchase a Big Box meal from Taco Bell but still want a chance at winning at winning a limited edition gold PS4 bundle have two alternatives: make a handwritten mail-in code request (postmarked by Oct. 21 and received by Oct. 28) or make an online code request.
If you choose to use mail-in code requests, you’ll receive one code by email per day (based on the postmark date of each postcard) and up to 28 total codes during the promotion period. The online code request will give you only one code during the promotion period.
Earlier this week, Sony announced a price drop for the 500GB version of the PS4 in Japan.
