Description
1st Place in the first Source 2 Modding Hub Discord[discord.gg] mapping competition.


A Combine substation is being built in a residential block, and after a rebel attack their progress was halted. As one of the last remaining rebels in the area, you are being sent in to stop the combine from finishing their project. You will be sent in alone and are not expected to return.

Made in 2 weeks using unofficial/bootleg tools for the Combine Presence contest.

Known Issues
Bad performance in outdoor/open areas.
(This is a result of the map being made with the bootleg tools, and before knowing how the vis system worked for Source2. A future patch will eventually be made to further improve performance.)

"AI Disabled" after dying in certain fights.
(From what I can tell this is an engine error, I cannot fix this. However, a recent update has apparently fixed this issue, but if you still experience it try following the instructions from this post.)

Before i was to delete the game to free my 60 GBs of SSD space i decided to give a shot to at least one custom campaign. The choice fell on this one for being so highly rated.

Pretty much a microcosm of the base game. Short and to the point. Great used of negative space for hidden loot - something the main game fell short on.

2 points of criticism.
1) The elevator trap didn't work as i spotted zombies manually and killed them 1 by 1, which forced me to stay near the elevator while it was making noise. It was scary, but i don't know... Felt wrong.
2) Some combat areas could use dynamic music. The OST blasting my ears even when there's no one nearby and i'm just looting is distracting and so i would settle for killing everything first and THEN going back for loot, just because of that.

Best HLA mod I've played. Fantastic, I didn't want it to end. An hour felt like 20 minutes. I came right here to comment after playing.

:steamthumbsup: perfect! Намного лучше чем Gunman Contracts (где боты тупо болваничками стоят). Здесь именно то чего не хватало в Аликс, минимум зомби и головоломок и максимум перестрелок с комбайнами. Плюс в оригинале было довольно легко проходить на сложном, здесь же нужно грамотно рассчитывать кол-во патрон. Длц хоть и короткое, но очень интересное.

@PinheadLarry In hindsight I could've done a much better job telegraphing it, if I ever get around to updating or remaking the map this is an area I plan to improve. Hopefully you have a much better experience with the rest of the map!

Ah, I see. Nothing in the area really seemed to hint at that being the solution, leading me to check trace every wall, looking for a hidden button or circuit. I'll try again now knowing how I was supposed to do it.
