FYI, my bf tried to use this hub with his Samsung phone, and whereas it plugs into the phone's usb-c port just fine, it wiggles and doesn't stay put securely because it's meant to hug the edge of a tablet.
As far as performance, it works great (Anker has been a great brand for me for several products.) and I've had no issues. I love using my headphones and the HDMI port the most. Also came in a good package with a great faux suede pouch for storing.
Hope some of that info helped any lay users like myself!
Ok the best thing about this hub is how small it is, and how many ports it had. Is use with an extension on my iPad ( ZUGU CASE) and it works perfectly, al though you have to make sure the part connecting to the hub and the iPad is not too thick. If it is you might have to force it in and then it will work.
The hub charge my iPad with no issue , plus the headphone jack ( DAVINCI RESOLVE) great for light video editing for audiophiles.
Something to be aware of. It seems like the USB C hub draw power when it is plugged in with no accessories attached. It may be obvious for many people, but I was surprised when my tablet power drain a lot quicker than before. When I unplugged it, the power drain slows down. Another surprise is charging through the hub. I just realized that you could no longer charge through the hub at a fast-charging rate if you charge through the hub. Unfortunately, these conditions existed because since the hub fit so well with the tablet, I will like to keep it on all time. However, since it will drain the battery and change to slow charging, I should only use it when needed.
Overall, still a good hub.
1- Very loose usb-c connection (and its not my iPad's fault because it feels pretty solid with other cables and dongles).
2- You can not use an iPad case this type of dongle, you need to buy an "extension" cable, like I did, but at that point, jus invest in other kind of dongle.
3-audio jack it's very inconsistent: Sometimes it works, but most of the times I have to disconnect and connect the dongle until it works.
4-It doesn't work with the Macbook air M1

Maar over het algemeen ben ik zeer tevreden over de Hub. Zeker een aanrader als je de M1 iPad Pro 11 gebruikt.
Works well, but it is not compatible with even cases that have the sides unobstructed. There are two "lips" on the connecting end of the hub which I assume are there for extra support. Unfortunately they obstruct the case just enough to be a problem. The hub will connect with my type case on, but can easily be knocked out by accident. With the case off it connects solidly and stays on. A bit of a shame, I figured I'd be in the clear since my case doesn't cover the speaker sides of the iPad Pro, but unforunately, no dice.
To solve this, I decided to get a "UGREEN Type C Extension Cable USB C Extension Cable USB C Charging Cable 5A/20W Thunderbolt 3USB C Gen 2 Cable C Male to C Femele 4K@60Hz Compatible with MacBook Switch USB C Hub (0.5M)". This is a good compromise, the cable length is perfect and allows the hub to connect with the case on no problem.
