Customers are dissatisfied with the charging port of the docking station. They mention that it doesn't work properly, and some ports don't charge at all. Some customers also report that the device doesn''t positively engage the USB-C port on the iPad Pro, and there is no trickle charge to the device via this port.

iPad Pro 11 (2018/2020) 6 in 1 usb hub
A must have for anyone with an (2018/2020) iPad Pro and probably the new iPad Air with usb c. (Not thunderbolt like the new M1 iPads)This hub can read, hard drives, ssd, micro sd cards from drones, dji pocket, go pros. It can read SD cards. It can also read all of them at the same time. You get an HDMI 4k 60hz port as well, for the usb c is only for charging pass through. For the hub it self, it attaches right on the usb hub (can’t use a bulky case with the hub) iPad must be with out a case or with some cases with the bottom accessible!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little usb-c hub for tablets
Reviewed in Canada on December 17, 2023
Love this little hub. It fits perfectly with my iPad Pro 12.9 with a basic folding triangle stand style case and my Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with the Book Cover case. Very snug fit and works great. The only regret I have is that the USB-C port on the hub only support power delivery but not data transfer. I use my Galaxy Tab at work so this hub fits the bill by providing a HDMI port that I can connect to the video conference system in the meeting rooms. Tested both USB 3 port and SD card slot and they provide decent transfer speed, perfect for data transfer on the move. The 3.5mm audio jack is a nice addition and works great with my Jabra 85h over-the-ear headset for conference calling, though, the remote control function of the headset is not functioning over the cable connection. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a usb-c hub for their tablet at a decent price.

Comes with a nice pouch for storing the hub as well as a short cable or thumb drive for example.
Works well, but it is not compatible with even cases that have the sides unobstructed. There are two "lips" on the connecting end of the hub which I assume are there for extra support. Unfortunately they obstruct the case just enough to be a problem. The hub will connect with my type case on, but can easily be knocked out by accident. With the case off it connects solidly and stays on. A bit of a shame, I figured I'd be in the clear since my case doesn't cover the speaker sides of the iPad Pro, but unforunately, no dice.

To solve this, I decided to get a "UGREEN Type C Extension Cable USB C Extension Cable USB C Charging Cable 5A/20W Thunderbolt 3USB C Gen 2 Cable C Male to C Femele 4K@60Hz Compatible with MacBook Switch USB C Hub (0.5M)". This is a good compromise, the cable length is perfect and allows the hub to connect with the case on no problem.
