Pretty good earbuds for the price

Best bang for your buck.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased these earbuds by Sony and I absolutely love the sound quality they provide. I was considering several different pair. I also looked at, and eventually purchased, the Klipsch R6. I also considered the Skull Candy strum. I listened to both the Sony and the Klipsch offering, using the same music from the same device so that I would have a accurate comparison. Both pair offer excellent rich sound for such a tiny speaker. Both have great bass and mid level sound. There are 4 differences between the two offerings in my opinion. 1. The Klipsch are more comfortable. They fit my ears perfectly. They are almost like having nothing in my ear at all. Great snug fit. I workout in my earbuds so that's important. The Sony pair seem more durable though. And they are not uncomfortable. They just aren't as comfortable by comparison. 2. Both pair have great bass and lows. The Sony offering had better high level sound though. The vocals are crisp and the horns are clear and bright. The Sony buds are extremely well balanced in my opinion. 3. The Sony buds have better styling and color. (If that matters to you.) 4. The Klipsch offering costs about twice as much. Winner: Sony I'm not paying Twice as much unless your product is twice as good. For the price, I haven't owned a better pair of earbuds. I'm not a fan of the bass heavy Beats. I listen to almost all types of music so I while I do love great bass from a speaker, I don't want to sacrifice clarity and balance. Sony offers it all for a great price.

Good quality budget earbuds!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: really good bass for its tier/price(rivals and maybe even kind of betters my other actively used WIRED earbuds such as UrBeats3 and it easily blows the Earpods); blocks lots of noises, long, flat, non-tangle cables, right angle 3.5mm plug, really bright blue color, universal compatibility with use of lightning or usb-c adapters and...it's made by Sony. Cons: the buds protrude ways out than I would like them to be and it makes listening while laying on my side uncomfortable..need to take one off; no buttons for volume control(need an app or something but no thanks), mic quality for calls is so-so due to farther than usual placement of the mic itself and with the use of the bigger bud tips..uhh..it makes weird plastic-y noises when inserting into my ears. Even with the downsides...I still recommend and rate this excellent because the pros outweigh the cons.

Best bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a red pair since 1.5-2 years ago and were twice the price they are now. I would still pay $60 for another pair today. Both the highs and lows are amazing. Good buds for people that like bass. My original pair still sounds as good as new and I use them daily at work for hours at a time. They are comfortable for extended use and very durable. Comes with cloth pouch and four different ear piece sizes. Due to my line of work, I have snagged these hard enough to yank them out of my ears and cell phone simultaneously multiple times with no damage. I bought my second pair just to have for when these finally go out, but I feel like that won't be any time soon. They just won't die. Warning though... the red will show dirt much easier. I bought blue as my back ups. Tempted to buy another black pair for when these both go out..... 5-7 years from now. Worth every penny and then some.

Great earbuds
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im not really for listening music or movies with earbuds, they always seem to come out my ear. I like to use headphones over the ear. So i decided to get the JBL-Live 400BT for $100. There nice but they dont get loud enough and the bass is weak. I then got the Sony WH-XB700 for $130. Again, they sound good but not enough bass and doesnt get loud enough. But the Sony - MDRXB50 earbuds, surprised me. Not only does these earbuds have enough bass, the get really loud and the way they are designed they curve into your ear. Plus, they are $30... REALLY GREAT EARBUDS.

These are WAY better then expected!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay... I saw online that these were really good earbuds, but nowhere did I find a comparison with the apple Earpods vs Sony extra bass earbuds... I took a risk and went with it and I'm not disappointed. I'll give you the differences... EarPods: Fits in ear comfortably Headset works fine Doesn't have an L shaped plug You can hear surroundings better Sony extra bass: WAY better sound Mic is good! Overall comfortable Bass is clearer along with trebles More natural sound L shaped plug so less damage should occur Can't hear surroundings as well In conclusion... the Sony earbuds in my opinion are better then the EarPods from apple. I highly recommend them!

A great set of earbuds...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say, these are a great set of earbuds. Nice fit, Awesome sound and bass, I went through several different sets of earbuds and over the ear headphones before coming across these. I have a bluetooth pair, but got annoyed at always having to charge them up. Frustrated I started looking at the best reviewed earbuds under $50 and came across these. I,m very satisfied with the build quality thus far, they look nice, sound FANTASTIC, good Bass, Great overall sound on everything from POP, Rock, Rap, Dubstep. I would say grab these while they are on sale

Q: QuestionWhat earbud would block out snoring?I'm looking for an earbud that will block out snoring that I can use with my MP3 Player. I'm considering the Sony Model MDRE9LPBLU or Sony MDRXB50AP/R. Will either (or both) block out the snoring noise while I listen to Pink Noise or Meditation music? HELP!!! I'm desperate! Or, please refer me to a VERY comfortable (in my ear) earbud that will work. Moderately priced would be appreciated. I don't need this to use with my phone....just my mp3 in bed. Thanks.

Q: QuestionHow long is the battery life
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer These earbuds do not have a battery. They are wired and simply plug into the phone jack.

Q: QuestionAre these compatible for listening to movies provided by airlines?
Asked by Razz.
- A:Answer Yes. They simply plug into the audio jack on the seat. Because they have an L-shaped plug, they are easier to deal with for those seats where the audio jack is pressed against your side.
