The iLife A4S robot vacuum is my new favorite appliance. This vacuum is not that heavy and does a great job vacuuming the floors. It may take longer than vacuuming it yourself, but it allows me to do other things while it cleans. Out of the box it is ready to go but it is suggested that you charge it first. It comes with a dock that you plug in to the wall, a remote control that allows you to set up your vacuuming schedule for the times you want it to vacuum, an extra filter and 2 additional floor spinning brushes as well as 2 batteries for the remote. Once it is charged, turn the switch on the side to the "on" position and then press the button on top of the vacuum to turn on. The vacuum will immediately begin to roam and clean. It has sensors that allow it to stop and turn when it senses or bumps into an object. The sweeper brushes do great getting under the first 2 inches of a fridge or cabinets and sweeping out debris and then allowing it to sweep under the vacuum to be sucked up. Cleaning the vacuum is very easy and is suggested to do often to prevent it becoming clogged with hair and other debris that could prevent it from working. The debris tray pulls out to allow you to open it's lid and empty the contents. It has a filter already installed that is easy to remove and clean as well. The roller brush is also very easy to remove and clean. The fastener that keeps the roller brush secure, simply pops off and allows you to remove the brush to clean. Overall, I love this vacuum even though my dogs do not. They probably believe it is out to get them so they will run and bark at it. It's quite funny. This vacuum works well on hard floors and low pile carpet. It moves easily over the seam between my kitchen and livingroom and over the vents. It finds it's dock when the battery gets low and will go straight to it when it is ready to charge. This is a great product and I do recommend.

I love it!

Ive always seen these little vacuums but never thought i would like them but after using one at work i bought 2 then i bought another one for my mother in law.. they are the best thing to have i love them. I honestly think they pick up more then a regular vacuum.

Vacuum

Bought my first iLife 7 years ago to replace that very expensive Roomba from another site. Paid the same price as seven years ago. It is still working. It's been regulated to the kitty litter %26 covered porch.
This one came with extra filter and sweepy things. Fabulous for pet hair on tile or carpet. Docks itself when it's time to re-charge. Great USA Customer Service. It's name is Dracula.

Love It!

This robot is very handy to have in the house for keeping the floors in decent order. It catches the dust bunnies in the corners and underneath furniture (if it will fit!). The motor and suction is pretty quiet and a medium strength. The robot does maneuver around furniture and corners, but lots of little items on the floor will make it change course often and may take longer for it to finish a room. For our living room it can clean the floors in about 20-30 minutes. It does not always travel in a straight line and if left alone it will travel the length of your house, so watch out!

Quiet & moved quickly in & out of rooms & did a great job. Would highly recommend this product.

Great little Machine That Really Sucks

This robot cleans my floors while I sleep! I have several animals and lots of floating hair everywhere because of their constant shedding. This vacuum gives me a break by keeping their hair under control. MUCH appreciated!

A Godsend for a busy person with 8 shedding pets!

The ILife A4s Robot Vacuum is a great little machine. This small little robot really sucks the hair and dust from our carpets very well. The Ilife has a sleek design. Your finger prints on the vacuum are noticeable. The remote that comes with the ILife is not sleek. The ILife remote is white and gray and large. Not at all I would expect based solely on the looks of the robot vacuum. I was impressed by the amount of dust and hair the dust in after just one use. We use a well known vacuum weekly and there was still large amount of dust/hair. The robot vacuum is not very quiet. You won't be able to have able to have a conference call or any phone conversations with the robot vacuum in the room. The vacuum did not eat the tassel on the area rug. This was a super plus. The vacuum pattern is random. If there is a door that's open, synergy ILife will go into. The ILife did recognize the steps and did not attempt to go down the steps. I think this an excellent little vacuum for daily usage.

Really Sucks

I life A4s robot vacuum cleaner has great utility for certain spaces. I have mostly wood and tile floors but there are few area rugs in the house as well. This automatic vacuum cleaner did very well on wood and tile and it handled light surface dusting on thick pile rugs but as expected didn't do much to remove deeply embedded particles. With that said I think it's a general rule for robot vacuum cleaners, they perform well on hard surfaces as decent on low pile carpets in a space that's relatively free of clutter. 
This particular model is very easy to use practically straight out of the box. I charged it overnight and the battery life is great. It went thru 1300 square feet space and did not miss a beat. Standard suction works well on hard floors, I recommend using max suction on rugs. It's surprisingly quiet. Maintenance is easy with emptying the bin, clearing the brush and filters on regular basis. Takes just few minutes. I like that the filter has three stages to it which keeps dust contained as well as extends the life of this appliance as well. With silk, foam and pleated paper filter every little bit of dust gets trapped.

Very effective

I have had several robot vacuums and this one is undoubtedly the worst. One little obstacle like a low pile rug sets it on another trajectory. I watched as it cleaned the same area 6 times in my living room and never did the spot in front of me after an hour of running, nor did it venture into the surrounding rooms. The double brushes actually are worse because they both get hung up on my Ruggable at the same time causing it to turn and go elsewhere. It's narrow, and I was hoping it would be able to go between chair legs - nope, it turns away even though it has clearance and space. It doesn't have a long enough body to get under narrow, low clearance bookcases like my roborock can. I watched it for an hour and a half and it appears to clean on a geometric pattern and not a serpentine pattern. It does pretty well on the perimeter clean so if you're inclined to sweep all the refuse from the middle of the floor to the edges of the room, then this works well. I don't want to do that much work, and I want to trust my vacuum to be thorough so I'm not willing to give up my room by room vacuums like my iRobot and roborock. I bought this vacuum for my rec space and second kitchen which are in a huge rectangular room and I hope it will be more efficient. But if it isn't, I'm sending it back. I prefer the programmable vacuums where the program actually shows me what was done and the path of the vacuum. Perhaps a little spoiled by those but it's worth the peace of mind knowing the vacuum has done it's job EVERYWHERE and not randomly.
