A: AnswerIt won't work unless the cup has the exact same bottom as the pitcher this came with. The blender came with one huge pitcher with a very large bottom. It has an unique base that the pitcher locks into for the motor to run. Hope this helps. I LOVE this blender.Answered by CyndyC
