I waited a while for this product to become available on Amazon so I didn't have to pay the $70 the retail shop wanted. It fits perfectly on my Samsung S4. It is slim and very light weight adding hardly any bulk to the phone. There is enough of a lip on the front to protect the screen when placed on a table. I'm not sure how protective it would be on a drop but I didn't buy it for this reason. I get complements on it every where I go. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
This item doesn't seem like wood. Also, none of the pre-cut holes for charging align with the phones actual ports, so you can't charge your phone, or listen to anything from the head phones, overall it's just a pretty useless product that I'll more than likely just end up returning or throwing in the garbage. I actually think I just got a knock off phone case that is plastic and painted to look like wood. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone since you don't know what you're getting.
This is a thin wood veneer on a hard plastic backing. I've been using it for about a month and so far its held up very well. There is enough of a lip on the front of the case to keep the glass from touching most surfaces if you set it down face down with the case on. I might buy another one in a different style just for some variety.
I was worried that I would be giving up protection for looks. I have had this case for about 5 months and still love it. The wood is high quality and doesn't stain or chip. I get compliments all the time! As long as you are somewhat careful with your phone, this case is great! Also, this company offers a lifetime warranty.
It is really nice. Seems to be a thin wood laminate on top of plastic. Hardly adds any thickness and looks very classy. Have had several people comment on it. I really like the high tech and natural wood contrast.
I don't know how much this would protect it in a fall, but it looks very good, only complaint is I got a splinter from it after I on accident kept keys in my pocket with it.
