***I highly recommend purchasing JUST ONE extra GENUINE ARLO BATTERY, not some no name knockoff and a cradle charger. Then swap the charged battery for the low battery when needed. Meanwhile use the cradle charger to recharge the low battery so it's ready for the next change out. ***You can purchase extra mounts fairly cheap. ***As for range, i am also impressed. I keep the hub near a window in the middle of the house and it receives all my cameras throughout the property, front back, sides and outer reach of the one acre of land I own.
I had my car broken into with my car well within the activity zone. They stole my nice dc plug in tire pump, I am lucky that was the case they could have taken anything they wanted and I would have never got any of it on video. Reliability of my Arlo is now questionable at best. There are periods it loses connection for some unknown reason maybe this was when the break in occurred. Very let down by Arlo, not what you expect on a security system with this price tag. Had issues getting it up and running, had to do a factory reset. Customer service doesn't seem like the brightest bulbs in the shed from my interaction with them. They are very slow and I felt like I understood the system better than them after tinkering with it for an hour. Arlo also proudly advertises their activity zones and shows you can make 8 anchor points to any shape. This is not true!!! This was a big selling point for me but you actually only get 5 rectangles. I found out that arlo took out that feature from reading forums though they still market it and advertise it. I think had I had the 8 anchor point activity zone I could have dialed it in even more and the break in might have gotten caught on tape (provided that was the case and it wasn't just random period of the system not being connected as it likes to do). Either way it is blatant false advertising, the rectangles are very crude and don't provide enough detail to tout that as a usable feature.
BOTTOM LINE: I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA SYSTEM TO RECORD CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND ARLO FAILED TO DELIVER WHEN I NEEDED THEM TO.

I had my car broken into with my car well within the activity zone. They stole my nice dc plug in tire pump, I am lucky that was the case they could have taken anything they wanted and I would have never got any of it on video. Reliability of my Arlo is now questionable at best. There are periods it loses connection for some unknown reason maybe this was when the break in occurred. Very let down by Arlo, not what you expect on a security system with this price tag. Had issues getting it up and running, had to do a factory reset.
