This may be a classic tale, but is still a worthy read in modern times. The relationships between men and women, master and servant, friend to friend can ask be applied to our society today. The tongue was firmly on Shakespeare's Cheryl when he wrote this play. Bravo, William!

Disappointing that some of the best lines have been removed. Particularly in the Petruchio/Katherine exchange ("women are made to bear, and so are you", "what, with my tongue in your tail", etc.) I'll have to find a complete version somewhere else.

This was a great play. I'm glad I chose this as my research paper. It was probably a bit sexist but I now can say that I like one of Shakespeare's works. I definitely recommend this to ALL.
