Perfect OLED Android TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has an amazing picture quality. Whether I'm watching streaming 4k, 1080p, or my digital antenna, I seem to have a great picture. The TV was mentioned to me that it should be in a darker room vs a well lit room, however during the day with sunlight almost directly on the screen I feel this images and display still render great. There are various picture and sound settings to mess around with to get a better picture to your liking, even without, the preset picture settings are already great. I haven't really toyed with the sound settings as I use my Sony sound bar, but from what I reviewed in the store, the sound itself without a system is very good. The TV is aesthetically pleasing with its simple design and small bezel. And despite it's hefty size of 77" it honestly isn't that much different than my 65" I had previously hung in this location. The mounting of this TV was super simple and will fit most general mounts.

SONY 77 BRAVIA OLED 4K TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Sony TV utilizes the OLED Panels manufactured by LG, and incorporates Sony's outstanding image processing. The OLED panels Sony is procuring are exceptionally flat and do not have the annoying rippled reflection the LQ OLED TVs exhibit when viewed while the TV is off. Theses two facts alone make the higher price for the TV worthwhile. The image quality is first- rate. No perceptible motion blur, no noise artifacts visible, no off-axis dimming or color shift that one typically sees in LED backlit LCD TVs. The TV exhibits natural color and tone rendition with crisp details. The program material viewed may not be up to this TV's ability to display it however- older film- based program material will have it's foibles revealed- you'll redily detect which producers chose to use less expensive film or had to change emulsion types in some cameras, causing a perceptible change in the image quality, sometimes between scenes. This TV is a movie buff's TV! I love the TV. This TV uses the entire surface of the TV as a speaker- dialog is very crisp and easy to understand, which places this TV at the top of a short list of TVs to be considered for your living room or media room. The realism of this TV cannot be understated, nor can it be understood, without seeing it for yourself.

Rolls-Royce of TV’s !!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this tv (with the mantle mount pull down mount) for over my fireplace, which is up kind of high, but the mount pulls down for best/straight on viewing Had Geek Squad do the install and I absolutely love it !!! Picture is amazing....it should be amazing for the price! It can also be used as a center channel for surround systems. To sum up, it’s the Rolls-Royce of TVs !

Best TV I've owned in my life!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have waited for several years before purchasing an OLED TV. The LG 77" always caught my eye. I purchased this Sony - 77" Class A9G MASTER Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. WOW incredible!!! Truly my "Best Buy" I have ever made of a TV! I would absolutely recommend this Sony Bravia OLED TV with my 100% positive satisfaction and enjoyment! Good TV. Very easy to maneuver. Great picture. Good upscaling. Great picture on 4k content. Well built. The pictures do not do it any justice. You just have to see it for yourself. No regrets whatsoever.

Best TV you can buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought a 75” Sony 940E from Best Buy a couple of years ago and it certainly was a premium LCD TV. We always wanted to get an OLED but had to wait till prices came down. When Sony’s 77” A9G came on sale for under $5k at Best Buy we decided that the time had come. The 940E went to the bedroom and the A9G joined our great room system. We have it paired with our Pioneer Elite AVR 5.2.2 Atmos system, a Panasonic 4K Blu-ray player, a DirecTV 4K satellite feed and a couple of Nintendo game systems. The A9G is all we expected it to be. Great colors, contrast and motion. 4K football and movies are amazing. 720 and 1080 feeds are expertly upgraded and displayed. My game stems are better than ever with no play problems. We have no complaints or regrets about this great TV. We have the TV on the wall using a standard tilt screen mount. My wife and I were able to unbox and hang the TV without problems. One HDMI cable runs to the TV from the AVR, using the HDMI-ARC ports on each, for the audio/video feeds. The ARC feature integrates the Sony well with the Pioneer and DTV for switching, volume and power. We have used Netflix, Disney+ and Curiosity Stream and the Sony had them or easily added the app to the main page. Our cable internet is hooked up to our router and then uses Netgear Powerline AV500s to get high speed wired internet to the TV on the other side of the house. We have had no problems watching whatever we want whenever we want with excellent pictures. My desktop PC has no problems using Chromecast to the TV and my android LG G8 phone likewise has no problems casting to this Sony android TV. The TV integrates the casting well with the DVR feed, switching away and then going back when the cast is opened and closed. A couple of minor problems. We tried the TV as our center speaker but we did not like the sound so went back to our regular center speaker. And my IR programmable remote control cannot learn from this Sony remote as I believe this Sony is RF. So I’ll have to use two remotes for now. The attached picture shows our setup. Sorry, but the TV is better than the camera and so the picture doesn’t show the TV’s full display potential. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase, price and results.

The Best of the Best.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get what you pay for. Originally bought the sony 85 '' 950g and was disappointed with the picture quality. I returned it and got the 77" AG9. I got spoiled with the 65inch AG9 in my bedroom. This was the same picture quality as the 65" but was bigger. I can't really tell a difference between the 85 and 77 inch as far as size. This is the Top Gun and it's more then big enough. Best picture quality in store especially streaming 4K.

Amazing color/ picture!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our new Sony Bravia OLED tv! We had to get a new television because our Samsung QLED TV went out. After speaking with the Geek Squad we made the decision to replace it with a Sony TV instead. The picture quality is amazing! You really do see the darker colors better and it is so life like! It is pricey but worth it!

Q: Questionis this TV worth this price actually when I could buy a 2005 Honda civic and actually get my moneys worth?
Asked by wildcoyote192.
- A:Answer You are right, this TV doesn’t come with a steering wheel. It doesn’t have good mileage and there are no seats as well, so you will just have to sit on the edge on the TV which will be very uncomfortable given the TV is extremely thin. Go ahead with the Civic.

Q: QuestionIs or when will b 2.1 hdmi ?

Q: QuestionHas anybody experienced any burn in issues on the screen with this OLED? That’s what is holding me back from this purchase.
Asked by kevin.
- A:Answer This is my first OLED, only been using for 3 weeks, so certainly no issues for me to date. Have had a plasma (can't get those anymore) for 10 years and never a problem. Unless you do some very specific risky things, you're not very likely to ever have a problem, just regularly change up what's being displayed. See: www.cnet.com/how-to/oled-screen-burn-in-what-you-need-to-know-now/ This TV has some specific technologies to reduce the likelihood of temporary retention or actual burn-in, including pixel shift, automatic dimming on still images, and automatic & manual panel refresh. Hope that helps!

Q: QuestionHOW OLD IS THIS TECHNOLOGY? DOES SONY HAVE A NEWER MODEL COMINING OUT TO REPLACE THIS ONE?
Asked by JOHNNY.
- A:Answer There will be new models coming out every year, from all manufacturers. Generally, the manufacturers show off and release their new year's models to the public, at CES (Consumer Electronics Show,), in las Vegas, in early January, and, usually, they begin showing up at retailers in March or April. Occasionally the manufacturers unveil revolutionary new technology , such as LG's OLED displays, or Samsung's QLED technology, but, generally, there are usually minor, incremental upgrades, from year to year, such as, possibly an increase in brightness levels, updates to the Dolby software, or a revamped remote control unit, etc., among all features. So a buyer of a 2016 model year TV isn't likely to see a drastic difference between their new set and a comparable, newer 2020 model year TVs released this year. But, over the course of five to 10 years, there is likely to be significant changes and upgrades, as well as the likelihood of substantial price drops, to make the purchase of a new TV, a tempting choice, even if the current TV is still functional.
