Oscar Wilde's incredible insight into the spoiled rich mind of a selfish and greedy individual is nothing short of amazing. The way Grey turns everything around to the other person is still true of many politicians and narcissistic psychopaths today. Dorian Grey will never age, there will always be someone around who is just like him.

I admit it's a very captivating read but I didn't like any of the characters, except maybe Basil Hallward who was the only salvageable character out of all. His only fault was to love Dorian a little too much of blind devotion. And poor Sybil Vane who was used by the a hole. Though I did find myself agreeing with some of the points of view/skewed philosophy of Lord Henry, I found him to obnoxious, misogynistic by the end.And Dorian Gray's surname suits him as he's a gray, easily influenced, boring.

Classic. A fantastic tale of a man who only wishes to do it all, knocking murder, and stay young and untouched by his lifestyle. Oh wait, there's a little more to it than that. Seriously though, a very good read. Much of subject matter lends itself to a more mature individual. btw, have a grey fish named Dorian and he's super territorial; he has killed every fish we've put in with him. I think he's trying to live up to the name lol
