I bought this brace just before a backpacking trip to South Sister, OR. I hurt my knee while backpacking a few years ago, causing a painful twinge in my knee while hiking downhill. I'm happy to say that I felt no pain for the entire trip, even with a net elevation change of about 6000 ft.
Pros:
- No pain in knee for entire trip
- Size was just as described
- Pretty breathable, not too hot, and wicks sweat away pretty well
Cons:
- After three days of near constant use it started rubbing the back of my knee joint raw, but it wasn't unmanageable.
