Best-in-class robot vacuum/mop for the price
I purchased the Eufy L70 when it came out on Amazon's daily deals mainly because I have had a great experience with the Eufy brand, having purchased their 11S and the smart-scale in the past that have held up over years of use. I wanted mapping and mopping and so initially got a Deebot Ozmo 930, and then saw the Eufy come out with their own model so I thought I'd compare and do a review.Eufy L70 vs. Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930.- The EufyHome app is much more stable than the Ecovacs App, and the mapping is not persistent/frequently needs to be reset entirely on the Ecovacs. If you pick up the Deebot it assumes it is relocating and wipes the stored map (very annoying). The EufyHome app is simple to use, easy, and fast.- The Deebot can hold a lot more water than the Eufy, and the Deebot knows when it is on carpet vs hardwood/flat flooring (see the screenshot with the markings showing this). This would be great to allow it to make a map and mop only in the places without carpet all on its own, but in practice this just does NOT work and it frequently tried to mop my carpet before I shut it off.- The Deebot can climb up onto thicker rugs like a shag rug (see picture for reference), and the Eufy simple tries and fails. That being said, the Deebot frequently gets stuck on the shag carpet, so frankly I'd be wary about any robot vacuum being reliable and "good" for thicker rugs without needing active assistance.- Zone cleaning is much more intuitive on competitors apps such as Ecovacs, Neato, and others which after making a map create their own "zones" so it's a simple tap to select exactly where you want cleaned. With the Eufy you have to draw a box around which area you want to clean, which isn't hard, but is extra work.- There are two spinning brushes on the Deebot, compared to just 1 on the Eufy. Don't know what practical impact it has, but they both roughly pick up the same amount of dirt after doing a full apartment cleaning.- The Deebot is noticeably quieter than the Eufy, but neither is silent enough to watch TV without being annoyed by it.- The Deebot gets stuck much more frequently than the Eufy, and lasts a lot less on battery time.Eufy L70 Pros.- Excellent and reliable mobile app (this alone makes a big difference and frankly is the reason I'm sticking with Eufy)- Well-built, easy to clean and maintain and comes with everything you need in the box- White color means less scratches show up and it bumps into things very infrequently.- Easily worth the premium over "non-mapping" robot vacuums, makes clean maps and is very efficient in how it cleans. (please note the image I included is the total time Eufy took to do a full vacuum of my apartment as well as a full mopping of the hardwood surfaces.)- Does light vacuuming as it mops to prevent dirt from sticking as it gets things wet.- Connects to Google Assistant easily- Gets stuck very few times and has a long battery life (can recharge and finish the job if it needs more time)Eufy L70 Cons.- Can't create it's own "zones" and makes you manually make them after it creates a map of your place.- Water tank is fairly small, and needs to be refilled at least once asks even for my apartment- Cannot climb onto thicker rugs like shag rugs and just avoids them entirely.- Is not a multi-floor capable unit (if you need that function I'd recommend looking at higher end robot vacuums like the Neato D7 and higher end Roomba models).- Will not go mop an area like a bathroom if it requires it to cross carpet (needs to be physically picked up and moved there).- Not a quiet robot vacuum, and because of the added height over the other Eufy models won't fit under low-profile furniture.Final Points to Consider:While a lot of these mapping robots will probably serve you fine, I spent a lot of time reading up on various units and brands because what mattered to me was having a low-maintenance, mapping capable, reliable robot vacuum that just-worked. You can spend anything from just over $100 to well over $1,000. With the Eufy L70 (especially on sale like I got it) - it's simply I think the most reliable, low-maintenance robot vacuum/mop combo you can get with the best price-to-performance ratio. It's definitely worth the added cost it over the cheaper random-cleaning robot vacuums. If you want something that functions on multiple floors and has auto-emptying features etc you just have to spend a lot more. For most people I think the Eufy L70 will do just fine and hits that sweet spot of doing most of what you would want and not cause you a headache trying to get it to work.

Update 10/1/2020
Eufy, if you are reading this, there is only one flaw with your machine, but it falls into the 10% of "I'm not giving up the 90% of what I like best about your machine. The drawback is the overall height and its where the lidar pops out, it's just a little too high for some buffet tables and dressers with a scalloped bottom. Eufy finds its way in, but has trouble finding it's way out. The rest is great! Hope more are in stock soon, going to send one to mom.
Update: 10/17/2020
So far I've tried most of the 360 line of robots and RoboRocks. What I've learned is this: The 260, roborock and eufy all share many of the same parts, but they are worlds apart.
Eufy continues to stand out as the best and here's why. I ran the 360 on my first floor which is 100% hardwoods with a few throw rugs. The 360 had taken the longest and picked up very little (we have 3 mini daschunds), the robot rock did it's thing and picked up little. Now you are probably thinking "wait a minute, why would you expect the 2nd vacuum to pick up anything?" Well, i'll tell you that after I ran the eufy last, it completely filled up the bin as it does every day I run it and I was actually quite surprised as well and yes, all bins were checked before the robos did their thing.
Eufy has the best suction, the best cord to put in an outlet with another appliance. The 360 used a universal plug and placed the plug in for your country, but it had taken up too much of the outlet to be useable.
Software: 360 and RoboRock used basically the same software with different names and they were both pretty bad. Eufy has a robust software and it easily connects to the network. Both Robo and 360 failed and probably why they receive only 3 starts on the app store. I also returned the i7+ iRobot because it ran like an old clunker and it was very loud. All 3 machines including eufy, 360, and roborock are all very quite.
Who's the best
Positive review.
Height - with the laser this is just over 4.02"
iRobot i7 is 3.62"
Why am I posted the height, now that I've had a chance to use the Eufy L7 for a bit, it seems that it's about 1/4" too tall for most furniture. We ordered both the i7 irobot and that will arrive later this week and I'm guessing it will work better with our scalloped bottom buffet cabinets and a few other things. The Eufy would sometimes have difficulty entering and leaving some furniture with scallops and one of our beds with frames. not a big deal and I will update later on how the irobot performs compared to Eufy.

I'm going to leave my review short as others have already gone into the details.
It's very quiet and as close to quiet as the new low decibel dishwashers.
Provides extra suction when on carpets.
When I saw this thing spinning and bumping into stuff, I wondered if I bought a lemon. Give it TIME to impress because it's learning and you'll know it.
Also believed it was going to be stuck under scalloped bottom buffets and sofas - not a chance, it will fuss a bit just like all of us, but somehow it magically does a little spin and finds its way out.
My only advise other than to give it time to learn is to probably pick up obstacles for the best clean, of course it's going to make it's way around obstacles, but it can't move them for us to clean underneath.
The early fun is watching it learn and being impressed by what it does after the learning curve.
My review is based on vacuuming and tonight I will run the mop.
11/13/2020 Mopping was great. We have dogs so I found it's best to vacuum in the morning and "Vacuum Mop" at night. The unit can disable vacuuming while mopping, but I chose to use both. The app can be set for light, medium and heavy water flow for mopping and my first try was on low. There was enough water to clean about 1000 square feet of area. Square footage is less than the actual space because of normal obstacle like floor islands, cabinets, furniture, etc.
Intervention - Our entire house is wall to wall hardwoods with tile in the bathrooms. The unit has a bit of trouble climbing from hardwood to tile over the threshold (it teeters), but it seems to be okay leaving. The 1/8 of an inch difference was the straw that broke the camels back. I wasn't too upset about it, it is a machine and there's an 80/20 rule to life. We can't have it all and the 20% really isn't an issue in the case of the robot. Nothing is perfect is how i feel and we are delighted by the 80% of what it does do.
We are so happy with the Eufy L70 that I will be buying one for my mother.
Yes, I would highly recommend to anyone interested in a robot vacuum.

- Does light vacuuming as it mops to prevent dirt from sticking as it gets things wet.
- Connects to Google Assistant easily
- Gets stuck very few times and has a long battery life (can recharge and finish the job if it needs more time)

Eufy L70 Cons.
- Can't create it's own "zones" and makes you manually make them after it creates a map of your place.
- Water tank is fairly small, and needs to be refilled at least once asks even for my apartment
- Cannot climb onto thicker rugs like shag rugs and just avoids them entirely.
- Is not a multi-floor capable unit (if you need that function I'd recommend looking at higher end robot vacuums like the Neato D7 and higher end Roomba models).
- Will not go mop an area like a bathroom if it requires it to cross carpet (needs to be physically picked up and moved there).
- Not a quiet robot vacuum, and because of the added height over the other Eufy models won't fit under low-profile furniture.

Final Points to Consider:
While a lot of these mapping robots will probably serve you fine, I spent a lot of time reading up on various units and brands because what mattered to me was having a low-maintenance, mapping capable, reliable robot vacuum that just-worked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best-in-class robot vacuum/mop for the price

I purchased the Eufy L70 when it came out on Amazon's daily deals mainly because I have had a great experience with the Eufy brand, having purchased their 11S and the smart-scale in the past that have held up over years of use. I wanted mapping and mopping and so initially got a Deebot Ozmo 930, and then saw the Eufy come out with their own model so I thought I'd compare and do a review.

Eufy L70 vs. Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930.
- The EufyHome app is much more stable than the Ecovacs App, and the mapping is not persistent/frequently needs to be reset entirely on the Ecovacs. If you pick up the Deebot it assumes it is relocating and wipes the stored map (very annoying). The EufyHome app is simple to use, easy, and fast.
- The Deebot can hold a lot more water than the Eufy, and the Deebot knows when it is on carpet vs hardwood/flat flooring (see the screenshot with the markings showing this). This would be great to allow it to make a map and mop only in the places without carpet all on its own, but in practice this just does NOT work and it frequently tried to mop my carpet before I shut it off.
- The Deebot can climb up onto thicker rugs like a shag rug (see picture for reference), and the Eufy simple tries and fails. That being said, the Deebot frequently gets stuck on the shag carpet, so frankly I'd be wary about any robot vacuum being reliable and "good" for thicker rugs without needing active assistance.
- Zone cleaning is much more intuitive on competitors apps such as Ecovacs, Neato, and others which after making a map create their own "zones" so it's a simple tap to select exactly where you want cleaned. With the Eufy you have to draw a box around which area you want to clean, which isn't hard, but is extra work.
- There are two spinning brushes on the Deebot, compared to just 1 on the Eufy. Don't know what practical impact it has, but they both roughly pick up the same amount of dirt after doing a full apartment cleaning.
- The Deebot is noticeably quieter than the Eufy, but neither is silent enough to watch TV without being annoyed by it.
- The Deebot gets stuck much more frequently than the Eufy, and lasts a lot less on battery time.

Eufy L70 Pros.
- Excellent and reliable mobile app (this alone makes a big difference and frankly is the reason I'm sticking with Eufy)
- Well-built, easy to clean and maintain and comes with everything you need in the box
- White color means less scratches show up and it bumps into things very infrequently.
- Easily worth the premium over "non-mapping" robot vacuums, makes clean maps and is very efficient in how it cleans. (please note the image I included is the total time Eufy took to do a full vacuum of my apartment as well as a full mopping of the hardwood surfaces.)
