Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced powerlifter, Strong provides everything you need to record your workouts as effortlessly and as quickly as possible. Unlike other fitness apps, Strong doesn’t bog you down with distractions and unnecessary gimmicks you’d never use.

Strong is optimized for a progressive barbell routine such as Starting Strength or StrongLifts 5x5, but it is easily adaptable to any other routine of your choosing!

The free version of Strong can save unlimited workouts, but is limited to 3 custom routines. Upgrade to a Strong PRO subscription ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) for an unlimited number of routines and to unlock additional PRO features.

Strong will automatically charge your iTunes Account at the end of your subscription or free trial period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current period. Subscriptions renew at the original price. You can turn off auto-renew at any time and still receive full functionality until the end of your current period, but no refund can be provided for unused portions of the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

If you’ve previously purchased “Unlock Strong” or “Strong Combo Pack”, you’ll be able to use the Restore Purchases option in the app for access to all Strong PRO features.

It brings out the competitive me !!!

I’ve been training on and off for 35 years. I had a habit of going into the gym and selecting a weight that I thought would push me. This APP has shown me now that I was operating within my comfort zone. Now I track every set routine; I have four which I change every 6-8 weeks but with progressive overload my primary goal. By using Strong I force myself to do either more weight or more reps, with every set, than the last time I completed that particular routine. It’s making me push myself and showing me I can do far more that I believed I could and, as a result, I’m getting great results. It’s genuinely a game changer and I wouldn't make such a statement if I didn’t mean it. I love the analytics that come with the APP which really help me assess my progress and, importantly, how I can do more. I rarely write online reviews but I have to say this APP has pushed me to give credit to the developers. If you are serious about your training then I would strongly recommend this APP. It’s intuitive, well developed and reasonably priced. I wish I’d had it years ago !!!

Great gym tool

I’ve been using Strong for a few months now and it’s great! I’ve got it on my iPhone and Apple Watch which is handy during workouts as you can just use the watch and add your workout as you go along
I’ve only got the free version and won’t be getting the pro version anytime soon due to the huge price tag.
There are a few negatives to this app though. It drains your battery, big time! I’ll go in with 80% and come out with 20% after an hour or 2 working out! If you put your phone on airline mode though it only uses a fraction of that which is strange. It is definitely this app draining the battery as I only have this running during training.
Also, if you are using the Apple Watch app and adding your workout as you go, you can add an exercise but it only adds one set, you can’t just add a few sets for each exercise like you can do in the phone app.
I’ll keep using this app as it’s brilliant and could easily get 5* if the above is sorted. Also if the pro version was around the £5 or under mark I would buy it but otherwise I’ll just stick with the free version

This is the app I needed!

Recently purchased another fitness app which didn’t cut the mustard in my opinion and is significantly more expensive! It got me thinking there must be an app that tracks your workouts and is fully customisable to the equipment I have at home?... This is that app! As soon as I opened it I knew this was what I was after, even had a few suggested workouts based around a push/pull/legs plan (which shows it’s not just bodged together IMO). Really easy to program your own workouts, planned mine for my first week of my own program in about 5 minutes. Just did the first workout, it tracked everything really nicely, times it too which is nice, gives you a nice layout of everything at the end. I can see how it will really work for me moving forward! Cancelling the other app subscription, this is the one! Would absolutely recommend to anyone working out at home at the moment that knows how to plan their own program and needs to map it around what they have.
