my Husband  uses em everyday  for gaming  meditation and  just Jammin to music noise canceling is really good on this pair and the mic  being detachable really is a nice little feature

A good headset for the price, but it needs to be properly EQ'd to really get that low end thump. Start with  a flat sound profile in your EQ software and and increase the bass and treble as follows as a starting point for those who want so low end thump not too overpowering.  db's 5,3,2,1,0,1,2,4,6,8

I personally use this other EQ setup connected to my sound blaster z sound card and they sound just like my hyperx stinger did to give me that low end thump for explosions and kickdrums. 10, 7.5,5,2.5,0,1,2.5,5,7.5,10,12

5,3,2,1,0,1,2,4,6,8 (These are the  db increases at each frequency to bring out the low end, mids, and highs)

These are the EQ frequencies corresponding to each number shown above. (31hz,62hz,125hz,250hz,500hz, 1Khz, 2Khz, 4Khz, 8Khz, 16Khz.

If you don't take time to configure this headset it won't have that low end thump some are expecting. Before I spent time configuring this headset I was going to return it and buy another hyperx stinger, but using the EQ setup shown above I now think I will keep these. For their price point after being properly configured they are pretty good.

Amazing headset

Purchased two of these headphones for my younger kids and they fit their smaller heads nicely. I love that the microphone is detachable too! It makes for easy storing. The sound quality is just as good as the higher gaming quality from this same manufacturer. Well worth the price!

Great price, great product

They are definitely quiet but if you have your TV volume on and the headphones you can hear ok.. but then the other players will hear the back play. 
Overall, good for $25. Especially if you need something to communicate. I just bought a $140 controller and the head set seems to be a little louder. So if you have a good controller, it should be fine.

Decent for $25

i have to go by what my grandson saus about this headset. he says 'Gotta have ut"  That is firgetting that the first one's mic quit working after a short few weeks. Few as in 3. That doesnt seem very great to me.  But ut makes my grandsin happy anx thats what matters.

sound quality is good but the mic doesn't work well at all i tried it on 4 different controllers one of witch was brand new i even tried it on 2 different platforms still has the same issue and they wouldn't let me return it. id just send the extra money and get a better head set.

When I received my Turtle Beach Gaming headset it was missing the microphone piece and the box was completely ripped up. It's almost like they sent a used headset for a new headset.

Never again from this Walmart location!
