I love this drone, great quality for the affordable price. First drone that I've bought and for starters I believe it's great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Snaptain sp500 drone such a great drone for a beginner honestly has everything needed to fly out a pretty good distance and great pictures and video I'm glad it has 2 batteries so if it gets low you hit the home button and it comes back to your house and lands then quickly swap the battery and its back up it has a follow me feature which is cool if your making a video of yourself it follows and captures everything its definitely well worth getting i definitely enjoy the GPS and all the amazing features that make this drone fun and reliable

Snaptain sp500 drone is so cool

This is my second drone. My previous one was around 50$ drone which was too light and week for any kind of wind. I like that this drone is a bit sturdy and can be flown in even light winds. Follow me feature is great, but I wish the battery life was a bit longer as 15 minutes is not decent enough to do downhill mountain biking with this following you all the way down.
There are some caveats like each time I crashed the drone, it looses connection with the remote and had to be restarted again. Had the same issue with my old drone as well, so I am used to this, but might be frustrating for first time users. I hope the company can fix that with over the air updates. Picture and video qualities are decent.

Sturdy and flies in light wind

This is my first drone I have ever owned. The manual is extremely detailed and walks you through calibrating the drone and connecting it to your phone/app. Once you get the hang of flying it, it's really fun to just zoom around with it. But I mainly bought this mainly for capturing videos at the Motocross track of me and my friends. The camera has a tilt feature on it so you can angle it towards the ground so it's not such a birds eye view. The full 1080p looks crisp and I got some awesome footage.

First Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by listing the hiccups I had and how I solved them. 

-Charging the battery:
The charger never indicated "full battery". It always showed as if it was charging, even after 12 hours. 
I went by with what the manual said ("could take up to 2.5 hours") so I just checked the battery level on the app.
-FPV/video signal from the drone:
It took me a while to figure out why I was not getting live video feed from the drone. 
It turns out my Android phone prompted a message asking me if I still wanted to connect to a network that did not have internet. I did not see (or dismissed) the message at the beginning so I would not get the live view.
Issue was resolved as soon as I re-connected to the drone's wi-fi and selected "yes" on the message.

Now, the drone.
It's pretty cool. Super easy to unfold and it comes already assembled. 
It comes with 2 batteries with usb chargers, propellers guards (that you'd have to pop in if you want to use them), an extra set of propellers and the controller and it's charger, of course. 
The controller is pretty intuitive to use after reading the instructions. It has a phone holder that  you can put your phone in to use it as a monitor - note I have a Pixel 3a XL with a slim case and the holder did not seem it would be able to take a larger phone.
I was surprised by the little, almost unnoticeable video delay. It uses a 5G wifi signal. This does not mean you need a 5G phone, mine is not.
This means your phone needs to connect to a 5G Wi-Fi signa.. My understanding is that all current phones can do that... even my old Galaxy S6 can.
The drone comes with easy mode ON by default, which is good.
It will reduce the top speed and set a virtual wall of 30 meters around you.

Make sure you read the instruction. There's a process to get it ready to fly.
The follow me feature works well. It doesn't follow the person, it follows the phone.
The POI feature is cool. Minimum radius is 5 meters and it rotates around it.
I was surprised by the return to home feature, it was pretty accurate. 

Overall, it is a great toy.

Great entry level FPV drone. Lots of features.

It was my first time drone and not easy to control, but it has decent functions, especially follow-me, and gives me a lot of fun. One thing to be improved is that it wasn't sturdy enough when there's some winds and the video/picture taken wasn't the best maybe due to the instability when with wind. However, still the product is cost efficient and it's a very good drone for a beginner, I believe.

Cost effective choice

Mostly happy with purchase. Still learning how to fly it. App is very difficult to use.

My sons 2nd once you get it going  lot easier

I bought my son this drone for xmas and he was supper excited. The battery didn't last much, les than 5min and when he will charge it wil stay red and never change to green. Hopefully we can get quick reply on how they can assist us with this issue. Overall I will need to test it out when is fully charge to be able to provide a better review. Maybe I need to be sent a new charger?

Battery dies quick

I got one flight after following the instructions exactly. It became possessed like it's judgement day and cyberdyne has arrived.  Slammed itself sideways into a tree at full speed and exploded into plastic bits. Buy a nicer one, or a much much cheaper one on your first time.
