Satisfaction Guaranteed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Peace of mind at its best. I never had any regrets buying this top of the line product, easy to use and the Defender database keeps you updated of almost anything that is essential to long diatance travellers like myself. Visiting new cities can be a breeze since it alerts you of speed traps and other possible delays like red light cameras conspicuously hidden. Directional arrows tell you ahead of time where the possible threat might be way ahead of time. It might be pricier than the rest out there but at least knowing you have the top of the line model makes you not worry about the possible features the other models/units might have that you might not have.

Great Radar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has great range. Ran it for two weeks next to my old 9500i. It is quite a bit larger. Far greater range. Arrows are really nice to have. False learning appears to work great. Works well out of the box on false K band. Audi, Volkswagen, and Chevrolet are all silent now. Most Buick, Kia, and Hyundai's are now too. Hopefully there is an update soon to knock out Honda and Acura. Overall very happy with my upgrade.

I love what this detector can do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fairly new to radars detectors after many years. I can say I am very impressed with the look and design and quality of the new Max 360 (purchased 8/2017). The review mirror mount is really awesome and seems to be sturdy as well. That really keep the detector out if the way and looks great. Be-sure to take your time when installing it the 1st time. I learned the hard way and had to redo my installation, very frustrating. I drive 65+ highway miles and about 20 in city miles daily and always run the detector in either highway or auto No X mode. Seems to have a lot of K band faults while on the highway mode or either I am not seeing the smokies...which drives me crazy, but I am still learning how to use this device. Getting more than I like X band alerts and k band alerts while in the city or ( auto no x mode), but hope to learn how to get rid of those soon. It's a toy for me right now, but it has slowed me down and actually made a better driver. I also seem to be more aware of want I am doing and that is good sense there are so many stupid drivers out there. I like the Max 360 because it has a lot of extra features. Not everything you can get in a detect, but a great start for a newbie. Get one you will love it!

Awesome Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this radar detector after a long wait. It has amazing range all around. The only thing I would recommend is a faster software because like when I pass the radar source and it would be behind me already, it takes like 15 seconds to arrows to respond with the direction. Set up is very easy.

Cool features but some drawbacks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an Escort Redline that works great, but I wanted to upgrade to something with GPS and directional arrows. This model has those features and a better display too. There are more options and settings this one has that I'm sure I'll grow to appreciate. But I really dislike the look and feel of the thing. The Redline is compact, solid and feels high quality (it's cast aluminum I think). But this Max 360 is all plastic and much larger without the high-end beefy feel (although, it is actually heavier). They added a chrome decorative strip around the top and chromed buttons and it just seems cheesy. It's just too big all around. Buttons are huge, everything is. The other really frustrating thing is the windshield mount. The older models used the "supercup" mount that was infinitely adjustable. The new mount this came with is magnetic, which is cool, but it adjusts up and down only at certain pre-set angles. Because of the angle of my X5's windshield it's not possible to install perfectly level. I'd probably just get the Valentine One or stick with the Redline if I did this over again.

Best radar by far!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using the Max 360 for a few a months now and it's been amazing the way it works. The "LIVE" mode is awesome. It tells you when you have a speeding trap or camera or officers with laser guns ahead. Best money spent!!

Buggy, faulty, erroneous readings, buy a Uniden.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First unit: I bought this redar detector in April and within two weeks it was giving me erroneous Ka band readings. It would alert sometimes for ten minutes or more while driving and I would have to unplug it to reset the alerts. I called Escort and checked for an update. It still falsely alerted after the update, so I returned and exchanged it at Best buy on May 1. Second unit: After the exchange I immediately updated the new unit. Five weeks later, same problem. False Ka band readings, basically rendering the detector unusable, and definitely making it untrustworthy. I again called Escort, and now my return-to-store period is over, I'm told I would have to return this unit to Escort for repair. Then I'm told their repair center is closed due to Covid-19 and it *might* reopen at a limited capaity sometime in July. After a lengthy conversation expressing my frustrations the representative gets authorization to replace my unit. I received the 2nd new detector in the mail today, 6/23. 3rd unit: New in box. For sale, cheap! I bought a Uniden R7 and bought the Uniden mounting pieces to modify my blendmount from the Escort to the Uniden. This radar detector has saved me from a few tickets in the short time I've owned it, that's the only thing saving it from a one star review. You should skip purchasing this one.

Q: QuestionI have a Rocky Mountain Radar RMR-8RDS It is getting older. It is hard wired front & rear I have been protected & no tickets in almost 3 years. It offers rear protection from Radar also. Will this Escort max 360 offer rear protection & what range?
Asked by Rocket.
- A:Answer I have been running this detector for about 1000 miles. Have received KA band alerts from both front and rear average to see first indication of Ka band is 1.5 /2.5 miles both front and rear . I have this moiunted on a mirror mount and swap between my Corvette and Mustang, consistent results in both vehicles.

Q: QuestionDo you have to pay a fee for redlight camera, speed trap and caution area and etc? Do you have to use a app on your phone? Thanks, Mich
Asked by Mich.
- A:Answer Didn't have to pay anything for red light camera, speed trap , airplane warning or any other warning . Not needed to use your phone with radar. This radar comes with free one year of subscription of escort live app. But this radar works Fantastic without escort live app too so not mandatory to use your phone with radar all the time. But if u use escort live app with radar then you will know the posted speed limit and threats on your way encounterd by other users. With live app you can mute false alert easily by your phone .

Q: QuestionDoes it work for commercial trucks too . I know it's illegal to use device like that in a truck . But if it works ?
Asked by Sandhu.
- A:Answer yes but if you go to the couple states that they are illegal Spectra will detect them like you detect them. Then you get to watch the trooper step on your 600 dollar radar detector and give u a high dollar ticket. Happened to me. The also have detectors in the scales and will nail you there. There Redline is supposed to be immune to it though.

Q: QuestionEscort liveDoes it come with the 1 year membership of escort live as it does on escort and Amazon's sites?
Asked by Taylor.
- A:Answer As of today, 11/3 I just got back from purchasing the MAx 360, and I don't see anything regarding a free 1 year subscription. I downloaded the app, and was greeted with a message saying my subscription ended today, and that I need to select/pay for a plan.
