As a longtime audio enthusiast, I know a thing or two about the wireless Bluetooth earbuds that’ve become popular in recent years. And while there are some good options out there at every price point, my personal recommendation is to stick with the most popular example of all: the Apple AirPods Pro 2 .

Arguably the headset that popularized the form factor, Apple Airpods are a must-own accessory for any iPhone owner out there. And there’s never been a better time to add these fun-sized headphones to your cart, as they’re enjoying a deep discount for Prime Big Deal Days. Right now, they’re on sale for $168.99 (that’s 32% off!) for Amazon’s big sales event, which runs October 8th and 9th.

Apple offers a lot of great accessories for the iPhone, such as the Apple Magic Keyboard, AirTags, and the Apple Watch Series 10, but the AirPods Pro 2 are my pick for the best relatively cheap Apple product you can buy to radically improve your iPhone experience. And I’m not the only one who feels that way. In our review of the snazzy cans, our expert Simon Cohen praised Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 upgrades, stating, “Apple has taken what already was an incredibly successful formula and has made it better by improving existing features like noise cancellation, sound quality, and transparency, and also by adding new twists from the Apple ecosystem like better Find My integration and personalized spatial audio.”

Apple deals aren’t easy to come by, which is why scoring a 32% discount on their signature earbuds is such a big deal. The AirPods Pro 2 features unparalleled sound, noise-cancellation, and call quality — all of which make them designed to work well with your iPhone straight out of the box. Cohen praised the AirPods Pro 2’s overall sound, putting it in very simple terms: “When it comes to noise cancellation, [there’s] the AirPods Pro, and then everything else. They’re just that dominant.”

For just $167, you’ll also get improved touch controls over Apple’s first-generation AirPods. They also come with four pairs of silicone ear-tips to ensure that perfect fit. The Pro 2’s also introduce a number of key hearing health features backed by science, including an advanced Hearing Test, a Hearing Aid function, and Hearing Protection. (These features will be unlocked by a firmware update later this fall.) According to Digital Trends editor Phil Nickinson, “Hearing protection for loud sounds lets you listen to whatever it is you’re listening to without distraction. It also helps ensure that your ears aren’t getting blasted by the sounds it’s blocking. And coming later this fall, a new feature will allow you to use the AirPods Pro as over-the-counter hearing aids.”

I used cheap Bluetooth earbuds for years before trying the AirPods, and trust me — the difference is night and day. And now that they’re almost $100 off, there’s no better time to give yourself a well-deserved upgrade (let alone accept any other substitute). Pick up these Apple AirPods Pro 2 for Prime Big Deal Days, or you’ll be kicking yourself that you let this opportunity pass you by.

The LG C-Series has long occupied a unique position in the TV market. For years, it has been the default recommendation for anyone looking for a premium OLED experience without stepping into flagship pricing territory. It consistently delivered the picture quality, gaming performance, and overall reliability that made it one of the safest OLED recommendations available.

Tidal lays down the rules for AI music. I wish Spotify and everyone else would follow
Tidal app showing on iPhone 15 Pro.

Every week, the AI music problem is getting increasingly hard to ignore, especially for streaming platforms. Deezer reported that 44% of all new music uploaded to its platform daily is now AI-generated; that's almost half the songs.

Spotify relabeled and tightened its AI policies last September, while Apple Music announced a tagging approach in March. However, the subscription-based artist-first music platform Tidal has done something none of them did.

Netflix just got a whole lot more irritating if you share a screen in a household
Every profile will soon need its own email address, adding another hurdle for households that share a TV.

Netflix's password-sharing crackdown isn't over just yet. The streaming giant is now rolling out another change that could make shared household accounts a little more cumbersome, this time by asking every profile on an account to have its own email address. While the move isn't designed to stop families from sharing a subscription, it does add another layer of identity verification that many users probably weren't asking for.
