When it comes to surround sound technology, you can always count on Dolby Atmos to immerse you and yours. Unfortunately, a proper Atmos configuration can cost thousands of dollars, which is why we’re thankful that brands like Samsung make soundbars that can virtualize a big Atmos setup via clever audio engineering.

One of these systems is the Samsung HW-Q600C 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar, which is actually on sale this week for only $328. Usually, this soundbar is $600, so you’ll definitely want to buy it while you can still score this $270 discount.

Why you should buy the Samsung HW-Q600C Soundbar

Classed as a 3.1.2 system, the Samsung Q600C uses side-firing speakers to fill your living room with sound. A dedicated center channel delivers crisp-clear vocals and dialogue, and the wireless subwoofer brings the low end to all your favorite movies, shows, songs, and video games. You’ll even be able to change audio presets and manually adjust bass and treble with the included remote!

The best way to connect the HW-Q600C to your TV is via HDMI eARC, especially if you plan on listening to Dolby Atmos content. While the height effects aren’t as convincing as a pair of wired ceiling speakers, the Q600C does a decent job at emulating Atmos.

The bar also has a digital optical port, a USB-A connection, and an HDMI input if you’d like to use the Q600C for video passthrough to your TV or projector.

We’ve been covering the best Dolby Atmos soundbars for years, and in our opinion, the Samsung HW-Q600C 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar more than makes the grade. It’s also hard to say no to a $270 discount on a great audio accessory.

Sony IER-M500 Launched Featured in use by artists

Sony is officially back in the professional in-ear monitor (IEM) space. The company has announced the IER-M500, a new pair of stage-focused earphones designed for everyone from aspiring musicians to seasoned performers. Rather than chasing features like active noise cancellation or spatial audio for casual listening, the IER-M500 is built with one goal in mind: helping artists hear themselves clearly during live performances.

Built for the stage, not the daily commute

Spotify finally lets you pin more than four items in your library, and it only took a few years
Spotify's most embarrassingly overdue fix just happened, and it's available for free users too.

Spotify has raised the limit on pinned items in Your Library from four to 20. Yes, you read that right.

For years, Spotify thought four items were sufficient, even as users asked for more, and today the company finally caved. Credit where it's due: 20 is actually a meaningful number.
