Smart speakers and smart displays have become increasingly popular over the last decade, and thanks to products like Samsung’s Music Frame, it looks like we still have years of innovation to look forward to. This cleverly disguised smart speaker is both a photo frame and one of the best ways to listen to music streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.

And right now, when you purchase the Samsung Music Frame through Samsung, Amazon, Best Buy, and a handful of other retailers, you’ll only wind up paying $300. The full MSRP on this model is $400. We tested the Music Frame this past December, and reviewer Simon Cohen said, “The Music Frame makes powerful, full-range sound become a seamless part of your decor.”

Why you should buy the Samsung Music Frame

Take one look at the Music Frame and tell us it doesn’t just look like a photo frame (albeit a classy one). Samsung’s miniature version of its popular Frame TV lineup (QLED TVs that are designed to look like wall-hanging art), the Music Frame’s matte backing leaves space for an 8×10 or 8×8 print to slot in. Alternatively, you can order glossy art panels to replace the matte backing entirely for a more complete look.

With its multi-speaker array and built-in woofers, the Music Frame delivers exceptional sound quality, complete with articulate treble and mids and bountiful bass. We were surprised to hear as much thump emanating from this speaker as we did! And thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, you’ll be able to stream tunes from your phone or tablet ‘till the cows come home! The speaker also supports AirPlay 2 and Google Cast capabilities.

Other noteworthy features include Dolby Atmos, SBC, AAC, and SSC (Samsung Seamless support). It’s hard to say how long this sale is going to last, so today might be the last day to save. Take $100 off the Samsung Music Frame when you purchase today. Marshall launches Acton IV and Stanmore IV

Marshall has refreshed two of its most popular wireless speakers. The company has officially unveiled the Acton IV and Stanmore IV, bringing a series of meaningful upgrades that go beyond simply making them louder. While improved bass and cleaner sound are part of the package, Marshall is also making a welcome push toward repairability, allowing owners to replace several external components instead of replacing the entire speaker.

I was skeptical of clip-style open earbuds. After trying my first pair, I don’t want to go back
No pressure, no plugged-up feeling, no fatigue. After months of all-day wear, open-air audio earclips have earned a permanent spot in my routine.
Baseus Bowie MC2 earclip earbuds.

I am not what you would call an audiophile. I don't obsess over terms like LDAC and DSEE upscaling. For me, they're just another utilitarian gadget to get the job done. Somewhere along the way, however, I stopped judging earbuds purely on how they sound and started paying closer attention to how naturally they fit into an ordinary day.

So much of this category now chases bass, noise cancellation, and a spec sheet full of features that comfort has quietly become an afterthought. I recently got a chance to try the Baseus Bowie MC2, my first pair of earclip-style earbuds. It came as a revelation for me. I picked them up from Amazon at $40, so it wasn't a big hit on my wallet either. The leap of faith, I'd say, was well worth it.
