Your TV speakers are begging for some time off, and they also want you and yours to have the kind of home theater experience you deserve. And the quick and simple answer to enhanced movies, TV shows, and video games is a soundbar. While the best models tend to cost a pretty penny, we sometimes come across soundbar deals that blow our minds. At least enough so that we need to bring these promos to our readers’ attention:

One of the best soundbar deals of the week is on the Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus, which is marked down to $1,000 when you purchase at Best Buy, Walmart, Crutchfield, and a few other retailers.

Why you should buy the Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus

The Sennheiser Ambeo Plus is an absolute beast of a Dolby Atmos soundbar that we had the opportunity to review. Here’s the word from resident AV aficionado, Simon Cohen: “With virtualized Dolby Atmos this good, who needs more speakers?”

The Ambeo Soundbar Plus is the type of soundbar that can virtualize a much larger surround sound system, the kind that will fool you into thinking you have speakers in the ceiling and behind you. Thanks to HDMI eARC connectivity, the Ambeo Plus supports all Dolby and DTS formats, including Atmos and DTS:X. The soundbar also has two HDMI 2.0 ports that support 4K passthrough at 60Hz (and 1080p HD at 120Hz), so you’ll be able to wire AV components like game consoles, cable boxes, and Blu-ray players directly to the Ambeo.

The Ambeo Plus does a fantastic job at filling medium to larger-sized rooms with 3D home theater audio, and the Sennheiser Smart Control app gives you access to room calibration tools. This means you’ll be able to tune the Ambeo’s performance to best match your home’s unique acoustics. The app also contains a graphic EQ and several other system customizations. And once you’ve connected the Ambeo Plus to Wi-Fi, you’ll even be able to use Alexa and Google Assistant to stream music, control smart home devices, and more.

We’re not sure how long this sale is going to last, but here’s hoping the markdown sticks around for longer than a few days. Save $500 when you order the Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus today, and make sure to have a look at our lists of the top Best Buy deals and Walmart deals for additional discounts on top AV products!

We loved the Sonos Beam Gen 2, and today it’s on sale for $400
The Sonos Beam 2 soundbar on a media cabinet with a couple of video game controllers.

It’s Sonos sales week! (That’s the unofficial name we’re sticking with.) Sonos’ wireless speakers, soundbars, subwoofers, and a few other devices are discounted this week, including the Sonos Beam (Gen 2). For as long as this sale lasts, you’ll be able to purchase the latest version of the Beam for only $400. That’s a $100 discount off the soundbar’s MSRP.

When we tested the Beam (Gen 2) a couple of years back, resident AV expert Simon Cohen said, “Dolby Atmos adds a splash of 3D fun to an already excellent soundbar.”

We gave the Sonos Ray 4 out of 5 stars, and today it’s on sale for $180
The Sonos Ray soundbar in white.

When it comes to wireless audio, Sonos is a brand that has reigned supreme in the AV space for many years. The company makes everything from powered Wi-Fi speakers to Dolby Atmos soundbars and pulse-pounding subwoofers. Sonos also makes smaller soundbars, including the Sonos Ray, which just so happens to be on sale this week:

Right now, when you purchase the Sonos Ray Soundbar at Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and several other retailers, you’ll only pay $180. The full MSRP on this bar is $280. We tested the Sonos Ray back in April 2023, and reviewer Simon Cohen said, “Sonos sets the stage for a much more affordable home theater system with the Ray.”

The Sony Bravia 8 scored 4 out of 5 stars, and it’s on sale
Sony Bravia 8 OLED

It’s hard to beat the kind of color accuracy and near-infinite contrast levels you’ll get with an OLED TV. Unlike LED-LCD sets, OLED screens are made up of millions of self-emissive pixels that can be turned on or off individually. So, when one part of the picture is supposed to be dark, an OLED pixel is able to render total blackness by simply turning it off.

Brands like Sony, LG, and Samsung are behind some of the best OLED TVs of 2025, and we’re always on the lookout for the best OLED TV deals. Luck was on our side this week with the following offer: For a limited time, the Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 Series 4K OLED is $100 off, which means it can be yours for as little as $1,600 (plus tax)!
