This story is part of Digital Trends' Cyber Monday coverage 2025

Cyber Monday is a great time to pick up that piece of tech that you’ve had your eye on but never actually buy. Amazon has been a leader in Cyber Monday deals for years, and this year is no exception. Today you can get two different types of Sonos One smart speakers starting at just $129, a savings of at least $50. Sonos One speakers are multiroom smart speakers that pair with each other and are compatible with your smartphone for a whole-house sound experience. Check out the two types of speakers from Sonos on sale today below.

Sonos One SL — $129, was $179

Sonos

The Sonos One SL is a compact smart speaker that will fit anywhere you want to put it. The speaker is humidity resistant, so that you can put it on a shelf in the bathroom or laundry room. The Sonos One SL is compatible with your iPhone or iPad, so you can ask Siri to play music from anywhere in your home. One Sonos SL speaker provides an immersive sound experience, but two of them will create a more detailed surround sound. You can use a pair of them as rear home theater surrounds if paired with the Sonos Playbar, Playbase, or Beam.

Two Class-D digital amplifiers inside each speaker are tuned to match the speaker drivers and acoustic architecture. One tweeter provides clear high-frequency sound, and one mid-woofer plays mid-range vocal frequencies and deep bass. The bass and treble are also adjustable so that you can customize your sound by individual rooms or groups of rooms. One Ethernet port allows you to wire directly to your router if your Wi-Fi is unstable. Speaking of Wi-Fi, your Sonos One SL speaker utilizes Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth, to connect to your home network to create uninterrupted wireless streaming. Compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 on devices iOS 11.4 and higher.

Sonos One (Gen 2) — $149, was $199

Sonos

The Sonos One (Gen 2) is a powerful smart speaker with voice control built-in, so you get rich, immersive sound controlled by your voice via the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and more. Much like the Sonos One SL, the Gen 2 Sonos One is compact and fits well anywhere in your home. This speaker is also humidity resistant, so you don’t have to worry if you want to sing along in the shower. The One Gen 2 is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa so that you can play music, set alarms, get answers to questions, check the news, and more completely hands-free. This speaker’s hands-free features make this speaker a perfect companion in the kitchen for those of you who love to cook.

Just like the Sonos One SL, you can pair multiple Gen 2 speakers with each other or other Sonos speakers for a whole-house sound system. The Gen 2 also has the same two Class-D digital amplifiers, one tweeter, and one mid-woofer as the One SL, so the sound quality is the same. However, the Gen 2 has a responsive audio chime that let you know Sonos One has heard you and is working on a response. The audio chime, paired with a far-field microphone array that captures your voice and cancels noise, ensures your Sonos One hears you no matter where you are in your home.

Your YouTube playlists can now become actual TV shows, but there’s a catch you need to know
YouTube just gave Partner Program creators the episodic infrastructure that Netflix has been using to keep audiences hooked for years.

YouTube just gave its creators a tool that streaming platforms take for granted. I’m talking about the ability to structure content as proper episodic TV.

If you're in the YouTube Partner Program and you’ve been organizing your videos into playlists while praying that the algorithm and your audience notice, then Shows is the upgrade you've been waiting for.
