Temple offers new iPad 2 Smart Case in leather and canvas

temple offers new ipad 2 smart case in leather and canvas t055l ipad2 8 22673 zoomWe have written about Temple before, and the brand continues to expand its range of products built for the tech lifestyle, with a bit of a rough-hewn edge, of course. Temple already has a great iPad case on the market, but the company has now also included a new iPad 2 Smart Case ($179+) to its collection of rugged-looking canvas and leather products. The new case is crafted from beautiful lambskin leather with a khaki twill lining and magnetic closures. The smart closures make closing and opening the case easy and secure, but even better, they fold backwards to quickly put your iPad in perfect typing or viewing position. A brass eyelet, which adds to the war-era style, also allows for the new HD camera to take photos and video without needing to be removed from the case. A precision cutout ensures that the built-in speaker port can reach its full capability as well.

The slim, portfolio style case is simple and not full of bells and whistles, but it will allow for optimum functionality while always protecting your device. Did we mention that it is extremely good-looking? Perhaps our favorite part of both the leather and canvas cases is the superb rugged styling. The material choices and small details of the case make this a perfect option for users looking for something traditional, masculine, and handsome to cover and protect their iPads. Check out the canvas version of the case in action in the well-made video below.
