Ugreen’s HomeAgent wants to make your smart home smarter without the cloud

Say goodbye to cloud storage bills, Ugreen's new smart home hub keeps it all local.

Ugreen is stepping into the smart home space, and it is doing things a bit differently. At its Smart Living Launch Event held at Gillette Stadium, the company unveiled its first AIoT lineup, headlined by a new local hub called HomeAgent, alongside a more powerful sibling called MasterAgent.

What makes HomeAgent different from other smart hubs?

Most smart home setups lean heavily on the cloud, which means your camera footage, files, and daily routines all get processed somewhere far away. Ugreen wants to flip that script. HomeAgent handles storage, computing, and device control right inside your home, and there is no monthly storage fee.

You can talk to Uliya, the built-in assistant, to control connected devices, check on live camera feeds, or set up voice alerts, like getting notified the moment a package lands on your porch. Since everything runs locally, storage, file management, and most smart home functions can work over your home network alone, without leaning on an internet connection for the basics.

Ugreen is also positioning HomeAgent as more than just a security camera brain. It scans through your footage and photo library to catch meaningful moments before they get buried or overwritten, then turns them into highlight reels you can view on Ugreen’s Gallery smart frames. Step up to the HA100 Pro, and you get faster networking and beefier AI performance for tasks like voice-based rule creation.

Ugreen also introduced MasterAgent MA100, which the company calls its most powerful local hub yet. It runs on Nvidia’s Jetson Thor T5000 chip and is built to handle heavier AI workloads, deeper device coordination, and a better grasp of what is happening around your home.

What else comes with the ecosystem, and when can you buy it?

The full AIoT lineup also includes several SynCare cameras in indoor, PoE, and battery-powered flavors, along with a smart speaker and the Gallery smart frame, all designed to work together under HomeAgent’s control.

If you want in early, pre-orders for HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro, and MasterAgent MA100 have opened on September 3 through Ugreen’s AIoT store. A fifty-dollar deposit locks in the Super Early Bird price at fifty percent off. The deal runs until Ugreen’s Kickstarter campaign kicks off on November 17, so you’ll want to get in before then.
