When designing the Envy 23, HP definitely stuck to the tried and true. In terms of design, this all-in-one is stunningly similar to HP’s TouchSmart, Pavilion, and Omni all-in-one computers. Like most other all-in-one’s, its got a 23-inch 1080p display, a built-in soundbar, and a relatively thin profile.
Our benchmark tests turned up no surprises either. Our review unit came equipped with an Intel Core i5-3450S processor, which returned predictably average scores of 59.89 GOPS in SiSoft Sandra’s Processor Arithmetic bench and a score of 13,998 in 7-Zip. However, it did put up some good numbers in other portions of our benchmark. Check out our full review to see where it performed well.
Priced at $949, it’s not particularly cheap. In terms of value, the Envy 23 is outdone by other systems in the same price range. Buyers looking to get more bang for their buck would be wise to shop around.
