Microsoft jumped into the tablet arena today with two “Microsoft Surface” tablets which will be based on Windows RT (ARM processor) and Windows 8 Pro (Intel processor). The tablets feature pull-out kickstands and a screen cover that doubles as a keyboard. Both versions sport the same size 10.6-inch screen but the Pro model will feature a 1080p resolution with the RT at 720p. The RT version will launch with Windows 8 later this year, the Pro model is expected to hit shelves 3 months later.
