Interested in buying the HTC 10 but not so hot on the price tag? HTC has launched a new campaign called #GreenIsGood that will run from October 1-8, and essentially offers $150 off the HTC 10 in any color you want. With the sale price, the device will cost $550 unlocked. The campaign is only available in the U.S.

That HTC 10 will also come with UH-OH protection — which means that if it accidentally cracks or gets water damage during the first 12 months of ownership, HTC will replace it for free. Last but not least, the campaign offers you the chance to enter to win prizes, although it doesn’t say exactly what those prizes are.

The HTC 10 isn’t the only device on sale through the promotion, although it is the most powerful. The device, which has been very positively reviewed, boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM, options for either 32GB or 64GB of RAM, and a really nice camera, especially compared to past HTC cameras.

Also on sale are the HTC Desire 626 and 626s, which will be offered at $80 off, and have decidedly midrange specs, although at a very decent price. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 13MP rear-facing camera. With the sale, the $180 phone will come at a super-cheap $100.

Next up is the UA Healthbox, which is being sold for $100 off, or $300. The Healthbox includes a range of health-tracking products, including a fitness band, a smart scale, and a heart rate tracker. You can also buy the UA Band by itself, which will come at $120 ($60 off), and lets you track things like sleep, resting heart rate, activity, workout intensity, and so on.

I’ve found a perfect use for the Galaxy Ring, but I can’t recommend it
The Samsung Galaxy Ring on someone's hand.

People seem to have polar reactions to smart rings. Some love them, like Digital Trends' Andy Boxall. Others, like former Digital Trends contributor Joe Maring, found that they simply couldn't abide wearing one all the time. So when I decided to buy the Samsung Galaxy Ring for a number of reasons, I alays knew it would really be an experiment with whether I would take to wearing a ring or not.

The results are in, and I am firmly in the camp of those who don't really get smart rings. For the last few months, my Galaxy Ring has largely found itself relegated to its charging box.

Why I’m sad this delightful iPhone camera is about to go away
OuttaFocus promotional image.

When Apple replaces the current iPhone SE (2022) with a new version, it seems increasingly likely it’ll mark the end of an era, because the SE as we know it is the only current iPhone still available with a 12-megapixel camera on the back. Once a mainstay of all iPhones, the 12MP camera is about to be completely superseded by the 48MP camera. You may be surprised to hear I’m going to miss it, so let me explain why.
The end is near

Several months after the iPhone SE (2022) came out, Apple released the iPhone 14 series and it put a 12MP camera on the non-Pro models, just as it had done since the iPhone 6S. While you can still buy the iPhone 14 new today, it was the last brand new device to launch with a 12MP camera, and when the iPhone 15 came along all the models received a 48MP main camera. Unlike the iPhone 14, the iPhone SE (2022) has lived on as a current phone since then, and is only now about to be replaced.

Chrome tab groups now allow mobile-desktop sync, and it’s utter chaos
Synced tab groups from Chrome appearing on an iPhone.

In September last year, Google announced a new feature that would let users sync their grouped tabs across mobile and desktop. It seems the company quietly started rolling it out in a phased manner.

I noticed the new synced tab group feature on my OnePlus 13 earlier today, after the Chrome v133 update was installed on February 12, as per the Google Play logs.
