Dell Announces Smartphone Deal with AT&T

Add as a preferred source on Google

Dell_Mini_3_Smart_Phone_prototypeDell has added AT&T to the list of carriers for its new Android-based smartphones. Dell says it has established arrangements with mobile operators including the China Mobile, Claro in Brazil, and now AT&T in the states.  That ought to give AT&T a confidence boost after Verizon’s slanderous coverage ads that have been airing the past few months. Although we don’t know much about Dell’s Mini 3 smartphone line-up, we do know they will be the one of the first Android-powered devices on AT&T’s network.

“Smartphones are an extension of Dell’s strategy to develop intelligent and more mobile products that meet the needs of operators and customers,” said Ron Garriques, president, Dell Communication Solutions. “The Mini 3 is a result of listening to customers and creating products that allow people to do the things they want, whenever and wherever they want to do them.”
