Need makeup to complete your Halloween look? Let beGlammed help

Now that Uber is bringing everything from kittens to cupcakes to your door, it’s only natural that other companies get in on the in-demand action. And for women (and men!) who balance a busy schedule and don’t always have time to make a trip to the salon, I have good news — the salon can now come to you.

Meet beGlammed, the first ever app to provide on-demand makeup and hairstyles for across the country. And just in time for Halloween, the beGlammed team is offering costume-specific services, so that you’ll not only look fabulous, but appropriately fierce, fiendish, or whatever else you should look to be in character.

Self-described as the “leading on-demand beauty service that delivers professional hairstylists and makeup artists straight to your door,” beGlammed and its impressive army of beauty technicians is now in 15 cities across the United States. And while celebrities like Mariah Carey and Paris Hilton have made use of the company’s services, you don’t have to be a socialite to get made up by the professional team.

In fact, as founder and former celebrity makeup artist Maile Pacheco told me, “The majority of our clientele are brides and women on the go, not celebrities, although we do have a handful of our fave celebrities that love getting beGlammed on a regular basis. Clients can easily book their weekly or daily service with a few taps in the app from their Android or Apple phone.” Simply download the app, pick your makeover and stylist, and let the rest come to you.

With three different pricing tiers to choose from, hair styling services start at $40 and makeup starts at $60. But special services, like Halloween hair and makeup, will set you back a bit more — $125 a pop for each. Still, considering the treatment you’ll get from any one of the 500 seasoned stylists (all of whom were hand-selected by Pacheco), you’ll be reaping your money’s worth.

Since the app launched in late 2014, beGlammed has already established itself in more markets than any of its competitors, and has become a mainstay in the beauty scene across both Hollywood and the regular working world. And in moving forward, beGlammed is also looking forward to releasing “step-by-step tutorials for those that would like to learn how to recreate the [professional] look on their own,” says Pacheco.

So this October 31, if there’s a killer party you’ll need to make an impression at, beGlammed may just be the perfect answer for all your beauty needs.

Lenovo’s affordable notetaking tablet just dropped to $130
Someone holding the Lenovo Tab M11.

If you want a tablet that's capable of multi-tasking and operation in multiple windows, you don't actually need to buy an expensive tablet or one of the best 2-in-1 tablets. You can actually get everything you need with a Lenovo Tab M11, an affordable tablet that is normally just $180. That's a pretty good deal already, but it gets even better with this tablet deal — today you can get a Lenovo Tab M11 for just $130, a savings of $50. Learn more about the tablet below, or check out its store page and take advantage of this deal by tapping the button below.

Why you should buy the Lenovo Tab M11
The Lenovo Tab M11 has an 11-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel screen that refreshes at 90Hz. It only has 4GB of RAM but still has the capabilities to use a split screen or multiple windows for multiple tasks at once. Or it can pass tasks to another (presumably more powerful) device via Bluetooth. It also has reading and document scan modes that make the Lenovo Tab M11 a perfect tablet for studying. This version of the tablet comes with 64GB of storage.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra could be the phone that makes me leave Apple
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra rear side.

I haven't used anything except an iPhone as my daily driver since 2015, nor have I regularly used a laptop aside from my MacBook for productivity since then. That's a decade of nearly full immersion into the Apple ecosystem. I wouldn't consider myself a fanboy; I just appreciated the convenience of it all. But after taking a look at the price tag of the flagship iPhone 16 Pro Max and the relatively minor upgrades it presents (even over my iPhone 12), the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has caught my eye.

Its specs aren't confirmed yet, but the leak we saw this morning comes from OnLeaks — a source that is rarely mistaken on this subject. Foldable phones are everywhere now (and Apple is rumored to be working on one, too), but the price tag is the biggest obstacle for most people. The Razr 60 Ultra is expected to start at $1,000 — less than I paid for my current phone — and outclass even the iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of power.
