WebOS 2.0 pictures leaked

HP is laying the tracks to become a bigger player in the mobile world by tapping the expertise of its latest acquisition, Palm, for a new edition of WebOS. While the Palm Pre was a solid phone, it failed to deliver on the hype, and it’s been ages since HP has made any sort of dent in the mobile industry. Together they’re looking to take a stand against Apple and RIM with WebOS 2.0, which is expected to be featured on upcoming HP smartphones and tablets.

The screenshots showcase some new features of WebOS 2.0, including an expanded universal search, a new dialer, and a new multi-tasking feature called “stacks.” New services that look to be integrated into WebOS 2.0 include MobileMe, Google Docs, and Dropbox.

Huawei has said its new version of HarmonyOS operating system will be ready for development use on smartphones beginning in December, and expects phones with the new software to come in 2021. Beyond this, HarmonyOS will be made available to other hardware makers for use on non-Huawei devices.

At the Samsung Developer Conference, Samsung announced a new version of its Android skin, One UI. The new One UI 2.0 has been available as a beta to a few phones over the past few weeks, and offers a number of small tweaks to the One UI interface that helps make it a little more streamlined and easy to use.

One UI 2 was developed based on three principles: Making it simpler, more natural, and more comfortable. That said, while Samsung was quick to hype up the new Android skin, the changes are all relatively minor. Perhaps the biggest change to One UI is that it's based on Android 10 -- so you'll get access to many of the new Android 10 features straight from One UI 2.0.

After a few weeks of beta testing, Apple has finally released iOS 13.2 to the public, bringing with it a range of anticipated features, including the long-teased Deep Fusion camera tech.

The update is available to all iPhone users with an iPhone 6S or newer, and also comes with a few bug fixes and other features that should make the iOS 13 experience a little less frustrating. You can download the new iOS 13.2 in the Settings app.
