Wherify cuts price of GPS Locator for Kids

This “back to school” special price reduction is for GPS Locator for Kids’ purchased and shipped starting today. “It has always been a part of our long-term strategy to extend the reach of our innovative children’s safety solution and make it accessible to more consumers,” said Timothy Neher, president and CEO of Wherify Wireless. “As a company, we are now in a position to reduce the price of the Wherify GPS Locator for Kids.

This significant savings for consumers also comes at a time when we know today’s busy parents are increasingly looking for cost-effective ways to ensure their children’s safety.” Neher added that the new price for the GPS Locator for Kids “will take affect immediately for purchases made online through Wherify.com or at the hundreds of authorized Wherify retailers nationwide.” Wherify’s GPS Locator for Kids is unlike any location-based service available today. Through the convergence of Global Positioning System (GPS) and digital wireless technologies – in combination with Wherify’s patented technology – the miniature wrist-worn locator offers a tested and proven safety solution that gives parents peace of mind knowing they can locate their children, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parents, whether at work, home, or traveling, can use the Internet or any telephone to quickly identify their children’s location within several feet, in about a minute. In the event of an emergency, either the child or parent can request an emergency 911 response and local police will be dispatched.

The Wherify GPS Locator is unique because of its proprietary integration of GPS and digital wireless technology resulting in a miniature child safety device that delivers a fast, accurate, reliable and user-friendly safety solution.
“From a competitive perspective, today’s announcement marks another bold step for Wherify that will stimulate demand for the GPS Locator for Kids and accelerate our leadership position in the marketplace,” Neher said. “We are very excited about the new pricing for the back to school season. It will benefit our customers and enable us to expand our line of location products and services for the adult market and other vertical markets such as corrections, law enforcement, auto recovery and fleet management, and asset tracking.” The Wherify GPS Locator for Kids is offered in a variety colors to appeal to children. The product is sold online through the Wherify.com company web site or through a network of authorized Wherify consumer electronics’
