What happened? Apple has joined hands with NBCUniversal to offer users a new Apple TV and Peacock bundle. The announcement closely follows Apple’s recent rebranding of its streaming service.

  • The new bundle gives viewers access to content from both streaming platforms at a substantial discount.
  • Subscribers can choose between two options: Apple TV + Peacock Premium for $14.99 per month, or Apple TV + Peacock Premium Plus for $19.99 per month.
  • Additionally, Apple is giving Apple One subscribers on the Family and Premium plans a 35 percent discount on Peacock Premium Plus.
  • As part of the collaboration, subscribers of one service will be able to sample content from the other, which could encourage them to switch to the new combined offering.

Why is this important? The bundle offers access to award-winning originals, movies, live sports, and more from both services at a discounted price, saving subscribers money while significantly expanding their content library.

  • The cross-service sampling feature will help users discover new content.
  • The Peacock Premium Plus discount makes Apple One more appealing to both existing and potential subscribers.

Why should I care? If you’re already subscribed to both services, switching to the new bundle will shave over 30% off the cost.

  • The bundle also makes managing subscriptions easier and gives you access to a wider range of content in one place.
  • The partnership also makes it easy to check out shows from the other service before committing to a new subscription.

What’s next? The new Apple TV and Peacock bundle launches on October 20. Once live, you’ll be able to subscribe through either app or website.

There is a technothriller stuffed with cold-case flashbacks, a tense two-hander that unfolds almost entirely inside a basement, carried by sharp dialogue, and a divorce story that turns messier and more human with every episode. I recommend these three limited series on Hulu for their unexpected plot twists and stellar performances.
