Extended trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron has a lot more Ultron (and more Hawkeye, too)

Here's some more Avengers: Age of Ultron for you in a new trailer

The arrival of Avengers: Age Of Ultron in theaters is still half a year away (just shy of six months, actually) but the studio isn’t shying away from offering sneak peeks at the highly anticipated sequel to 2012’s record-breaking blockbuster The Avengers. Following on the heels of the first official Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer, the studio has now released an extended version of the trailer, with quite a bit more footage added to the preview.

Released in partnership with Samsung, the new Age Of Ultron trailer kicks off with some additional scenes featuring James Spader’s creepy narration as the voice of Ultron, the sentient android bent on conquering the world and making humanity extinct. Along with an extended version of the scene depicting a ragged and battered Ultron interrupting the Avengers’ post-mission party, the trailer also showcases a few more scenes of Ultron — and his army of android duplicates — in action.

But Ultron isn’t the only character to get an upgrade in the new trailer. Jeremy Renner’s superhero sharp-shooter Hawkeye is also featured a bit more prominently in this version of the trailer, with several additional scenes that put the archer front and center.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron hits theaters May 1, 2015, and along with Renner as Hawkeye and Spader as the voice of Ultron, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann, Paul Bettany, and Stellan Skarsgard. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.
