How To Watch UFC 250 Online In The U.S.
ESPN+ is the go-to premium streaming service for sports lovers and fight fans, and it’s a must-have for cord-cutters who want to watch UFC without cable. ESPN+ gives you access to a sea of sports content including live events, analysis, interviews, exclusive shows, and more, delivered right to your mobile device or web browser. And, given ESPN’s close relationship with fighting promotions, ESPN+ is currently the only way you can stream UFC pay-per-view events like UFC 250: Nunes vs. Spencer live.
UFC 250 Fight Card
UFC 250 was initially going to feature a bantamweight title bout between champion Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo as the main event, but due to the coronavirus-related postponement of UFC events, Cejudo ended up on the UFC 249 main card. Now, the headliner at UFC 250 is a fight between Brazilian champion Amanda “Lioness” Nunes (19-4 with 16 wins by KO) and Canadian Felicia “Feenom” Spencer (8-1) for the women’s featherweight belt.
- Amanda Nunes vs Felicia Spencer (Women Featherweight)
- Raphael Assuncao vs Cody Garbrandt (Bantamweight)
- Aljamain Sterling vs Cory Sandhagen (Bantamweight)
- Neil Magny vs Anthony Rocco Martin (Welterweight)
- Eddie Wineland vs Sean O’Malley (Bantamweight)
- Alex Caceres vs Chase Hooper (Featherweight)
- Canceled: Ian Heinisch vs Gerald Meerschaert (Middleweight)
- Cody Stamann vs Brian Kelleher (Featherweight)
- Charles Byrd vs Maki Pitolo (Middleweight)
Nunes, the number one-ranked UFC female fighter, is the bantamweight champion and the only woman in the UFC to hold titles in two weight divisions at once. This will be her first featherweight title defense since winning it at UFC 232 when she defeated Cris Cyborg. Nunes is entering UFC 250 on a 10-fight win streak, but may not find an easy victory over Felicia Spencer. Although Spencer has not held a UFC title (this is only her fourth fight since signing on with the promotion), she is the former Invicta FC featherweight champion and a submission artist. This might prove to be a counter to Nunes’ strike-heavy, knockout-focused fighting style if Spencer can manage to take the Lioness to the mat.
The co-main event is a bantamweight bout between Raphael Assuncao (27-7 with 10 wins by submission) and former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt (11-3). Assuncao, ranked fifth on the UFC bantamweight roster, is another submission artist and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In contrast, nine of Garbrandt’s win have been by knockout, with this match also pitting two fighters with very different styles against each other. Both men will be hungry for a victory at UFC 250, too, having both suffered recent losses.
The UFC 250 main card features some other popular UFC talent as well, including bantamweight Aljamain Sterling (18-3 and on a four-fight win streak) against Cory Sandhagen (12-1 with a seven-fight win streak and so far undefeated in the UFC), as well as undefeated bantamweight Sean O’Malley (11-0) facing off with veteran fighter Eddie Wineland (24-13). There are 5 fights on the main card and 12 fights in total planned for UFC 250 on Saturday, June 6.
The UFC 250: Nunes vs. Spencer main card is a pay-per-view event that will air exclusively via ESPN+, so if you haven’t signed up yet, now’s the time. This premium streaming service would normally set you back $50 per year with the pay-per-view ticket ringing in at $65, but this bundle lets youfor just $85, saving you $30 off the price of buying them separately.
