What’s new on Disney+ in March 2024

Taylor Swift in concert from The Eras Tour.

If the entirety of 2023 didn’t convince you that Taylor Swift is the top music artist of her era, then Disney+ may sway you in March. Swift’s concert movie, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, is coming to Disney+ on March 15 with an expanded version that is fittingly called Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version). It’s longer, it has more songs, and the Swifties are going to love it.

Marvel fans finally have something to look forward to on a weekly basis starting in March. Unlike Echo, which was unceremoniously dumped all at once back in January, the animated series X-Men ’97 is coming out weekly starting on March 20. And since Lucasfilm isn’t done running episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3, both shows will be dropping new episodes on Wednesdays.

Beyond that, Sony’s hilariously inept Morbius is making its Disney+ debut on March 1 after spending almost 18 months on Netflix. At this rate, that means Madame Web will probably follow it to Disney+ in early 2026. But as far as we’re concerned, Sony can keep that one. The rest of March is pretty light, which isn’t a good selling point if Disney expects subscribers to hang on during the periods between new Marvel and Star Wars content.

Our roundup of everything new on Disney+ in March 2024 can be found below, with our favorites highlighted in bold.

Deadpool and Wolverine: Everything we know about the film formerly known as Deadpool 3
Wolverine stops to help Deadpool up...with his claws in Deadpool and Wolverine.

In retrospect, we should have suspected that Deadpool and Wolverine wouldn't keep its most famous co-star out of the title. In 2022, Ryan Reynolds coaxed Hugh Jackman into reprising his role as Wolverine for the first time since 2017's Logan. Once that happened, the name Deadpool 3 didn't fully convey how monumental this film would be.

So Marvel Studios has officially retitled it as Deadpool and Wolverine. Jackman has also humorously rebranded the film as Wolverine and [expletive], which would make this R-rated flick a lot harder to market!
